I had several cavities filled by Dr. McDonald. After moving away, I went to a new dentist who was very concerned about the poor quality of the fillings which were not properly fit to my tooth and the cavity, allowing bacteria to accumulate and spread throughout my mouth. I am still dealing with the expense, pain, and shoddiness of what should have been a simple procedure for a dentist.

This dentist does very sloppy work. She is incompetent and should not be practicing dentistry. After consulting this dentist, my first appointment revolved around cavity work. On my first visit, there was not an assistant present to discard my saliva or blood. I had to constantly sit up and spit or else I’d choke. Although this dentist applied filling to 4 cavities, when I arrived home, I noticed she did not complete the dental work on 1 of 4 teeth. I also was unable to floss because the filling was spread onto 3 of 4 teeth like peanut butter on bread. So, I made another appointment to correct the incomplete tooth plus get my other teeth sanded and buffered. Upon my second visit, this dentist sanded my other teeth and oddly enough my gums, which caused so much bleeding and pain that I cancelled the work on the incomplete tooth. Upon my third visit, to resolve the incomplete tooth, it took her 45 minutes to see me. After she was done, the incomplete tooth was properly filled. However, she did not buffer the tooth so there was a lump of filling on the exterior surface of my canine tooth. I had to interrupt her business with another patient just to ask her to buffer/polish it down. The next day, I noticed sensitivity to air and liq

About Hygienist: air and liquids on 3 of 4 my teeth. I did not want to return a 4th time because this dentist seemed unskilled and incompetent. So, I traveled long distance to visit my original dentist who said that based on x-rays and other analyses this dentist put the filling on a nerve, when in fact the tooth was so bad she should have known to do a root canal and crown. So, all I can say, from my experience is that you really have to stay on top of this dentist. And unfortunately, she is literally a law suit waiting to happen. From my experience, she is not very good at her skill set. She is literally a law suit waiting to happen.

Dr. McDonald is kind, gentle, experienced, willing to help check out your insurance to make sure they will be covered and/or what will be your costs upfront. No surprize billing! Dr. McDonald's staff is professioinal, sincere and kind. I would recommend Dr. McDonald to anyone and I have! I truly believe she is the best dentist I have ever had and I have had a lot of work done on my teeth. Oh, she is so gentle in pulling teeth, its out before you realize she has pulled it! Now that is amazing! Patty Norman

I got my braces done by Dr. McDonald. Although she did it correctly for the most part, there were still major alignment problems with a my teeth after the braces were taken off. I believe if she had paid a little more attention, this would not have happened. Now after a few years the problems is persisting and I will how to go to a new dentist to get it fixed.

I didn't believe the comment regarding sanitation in this office but it is true- there was dirt all over the cabinets, the floor was dirty, even the instruments. I was left at the office for couple of minutes so I looked around, just to see anything that looks clean and will make me feel better. Instead I saw the laser light that dentists use for fillings- it was just filthy! The most shocking thing for me was that I went for a root canal, after my tooth has been infected for several days- and the first thing that she and her father (Robert Mcdonald) did while examining me was to brutally touch the infected area with hands! Her dad have me a preliminary examination- horrifying! Very rough, it was like an examination of a horse mouth on a livestock market. Only good thing- they take $30 per xray. But I rather pay more than go to that place again!

Dr Anne S. McDonald is a very experienced dentist and does not get involved in superflous cosmetic dentistry. She is knowledgeable and honest. I would give her a 10 out 10!
