My first impression was over the phone where I got interrupted twice by a rude lady who works reception. I thought maybe she had a bad day so let it go. Until i showed up for my appointment and got the same treatment.
However, I was there to see the dentist, not make new friends. During the process of taking X-rays I was extremely uncomfortable and the mechanism they use cut the roof of my mouth. I let them know it hurt and asked if there was another way to do this. The gentleman tried to approach this a different way but once again managed to cut my mouth. To be honest, I let out a girly little 'yelp' at this point. I decided right then that if I wasn't confident in them taking my Xray, I definitely didn't want their team doing any real dental work. So I stood up and left. I went to the lovely receptionist to make sure I would not be charged for the 1 Xray (I was not).
The kicker...Dr. Tolson was sitting 6 feet away through this entire process and never once offered to intervene. As I was explaining this to the receptionist, he just stared at me from behind her. If he stood up and said "Ma'am, I'm sorry for what happened, how about we try again?" I would have loved to give him a chance and his team a second chance.

About Hygienist: The Hygienist was rough and insensitive to my painful experience. He was awkward in conversation, asking about my kids then saying things like "kids crying give me huge headaches".

I love everyone in the office. They tell you what they are doing and you never wonder what's going on. I've had to get cavities filled once and had no problems. I highly recommend this office.

Dr. Tolson was not in the office and it seemed like he almost never came into the office himself. The dental assistants run the office and seem rather incompetent. They seem very inexperienced and have poor chair-side manners.
The worst part was that I was told that I would need an expensive procedure, and I was skeptical. I got a 2nd opinion and Dr. Tolson's assistants were wrong.

They are the best! I've been going ever since I was a little girl ( preschool-elementary school) ....now I'm 23 years old and still going to Dr. Tolsons Office ( smile).
