I strongly recommend Dr Van Stralen. I had numerous procedures completed over the course of a year at his practice - all were successful and far exceeded my expectations including: a lower dental implant, regrowth of my lower jaw bone using Plasma Rich in Growth Factor (which was AMAZING!), 6 gold onlays, several porcelain fillings, a tooth extraction, 3D imaging/scan of my jaw, and so on. I cannot thank him enough for his attention to detail and truly genuine care for my well being. His staff are amazing as well! He is detail driven, uses a microscope to inspect every detail of your mouth and uses it during surgery to increase precision, clear out bacteria, and preserve as much tooth as possible. Lasers are used to painlessly evaporate gum tissue eliminating incision complications & additional office visits whenever possible. He never recommended any unnecessary procedures, was upfront about cost, promptly billed my insurance, and my post visit questions were answered immediately and thoroughly. If you need a cleaning, this dentist is for you. If you need a filling, this dentist is for you. And if you need the whole shebang, you'll be hard pressed to find yourself a better doctor - anywhere.
About Front Desk: Giovanna is fantastic. She goes out of her way to accommodate scheduling (I fly from the west coast - yes, they are so wonderful I brave the airlines and all the hassle just to go to this dentist) always accurately bills my insurance, and is just a joy to talk with each time I call or visit.

I have had multiple procedures with Dr. V and he has always been on point with the treatment. I consider that as others have expressed cost is important, but the health of my teeth out-wieghs this. I have had fillings, a root canal, crowns and wisdom tooth extractions to name the majority. I have always been treated well and given options. I will say the thing I like most is that Dr. V does not like the cheap and "temporary" approach. "fix the cause, fix the issue and make it permanent"! I also like the fact that Dr. V is constantly keeping up to date with his knowledge AND the technology available. The microscopes he uses and the fact I can see what he sees on the flat panel TV is AWESOME!! I also don't know of another office in the are that can do the dental CT scans they do there. Hey, Dr. V works for me!!!
About Hygienist: Paola has been working with Dr. V for as long as I have known him and she rocks! She is warm, sincere and funny. She puts you at ease and is quite knowledgeable with her work.

Had 3 veneers done a dental scan and 2 implants.
He does not take insurance and his prices are very expensive.
2 of the veneers felt after 3 months and I had an infection with one of my implants, not the mention the whole pain, stress and disappointment that I went thru the whole process.
I would not recommend him, because he is all about the money that he can get from your pocket.

The guy is excellent. Very meticulous and uses the latest technology. Cares about how you look and the health of your mouth. Truly excellent.

Dr. Van Stralen is the best dentist I've ever been to. I have been going to him for years and have always felt comfortable. I had a mouth injury and he has been wonderful through the whole process. He cares very much for his patients.

Dr Van Stralen treats both my entire family as well as my co-workers, I have not heard of the first person not 100% satisfied with their treatment and the doctor himself.
I personally think he cares of your treatment as if was for a menber of his family, while you are under his care you know that you are his #1 priority, and he will always look for PERFECTION!!!! He is relly great!!!!
