i have found this dentist very conservative about treatment needed. very inexpensive as he uses several dental plans yoiu can sign up for. He does not waste your time. You need to ask him questions as he does not spend time with useless information. dan wemhoff

Sometimes it is hard to communicate with his staff. Sometimes I think they missed learning American ways. Those over 60 are subject to "Senior Moments" and they should be excused and given a 2nd chance. If you speak Spanish and know Spanish culture, you will understand his front office I left to find a Dentist closer. .

Highly NOT recommended! I went to Dr. Duy Vo as I needed a filling. He did 10 X-rays and Cleaned my teeth without even asking me if I have the time to stay for them to be done or if I do want them done right now at the first place. Then I received $110 estimate - no description. After I called to request a description for the work needed - the new estimate was $580... The family dentist I saw later said that I don't need all the root canals Dr. Vo came up in the requested description... I don't need also the rest of the work Dr. Vo put in the description....I just needed a filling! Good luck - I hope I saved some trouble for someone as a bad review helped me also move forward!

My Mom recommend Dr. Vo. I had a longstanding dentist but had a great sensitivity with one tooth in which my prior dentist could not solve, so he stopped taking my calls. (Dr. Fuchs). I went to Dr. Vo, he cleaned and injected into the tooth area and I have not had any problems. I will have to have a previous crown replaced and I noticed all this food being impacted behind the tooth, but he observed it without me telling him and I will have the crown replaced to correct the issue.

He's very convenient to the Foreign Service Institute, Ballston and Bailey's Crossroads. I've recommended him to friends and they've been very happy with him.

I went to one dentist (not Dr. Vo) because I needed a lot of work done. He was going to charge me $3000 for five cavities (yes, five). The hygenist was like, "Just take out a loan." Needless to say, I was disappointed and decided to try to find someone else. I found Dr. Vo on my own and he did the whole thing for $900. He was really gentle and the staff is super friendly. The outside of the building looks kind of simple, but inside there's a great atmosphere, great staff, and reasonable prices.

he is pleasent but all business, not a cocktail happy hour trip. He is efficient and to the point. He has performed near miracles on some of my teeth. I asked him one time...you like this stuff? he said "it is like a treasure hunt". He made his calling well. His staff is superbly good, and cordial. don calvert 703-698-0611

I don't recommend Dr. Vo. While it is true that he is a pleasant man, I am not too happy with the treatment I received. He performed a root canal in November 2007 and subsequently fitted a porcelain crown in January 2008. After a couple of months, the tooth(a molar) started hurting again. I went to see Dr. Vo, who said I had probably overdone it with the flossing and injured my gums. I knew something wasn't right, so I went to see an Endodontist, who confirmed I have an infection in the tooth, seemingly caused by an ill-fitting crown. I have to get my root canal redone and a new crown fitted. If I had trusted Dr. Vo, I probably would have lost the tooth.
