I went to Dr Fox for a second opinion. I was very frightened,
I found Dr Fox on Angie's List. He has all positive reviews which is commendable.
. He actually called me before my appointment to introduce himself which helped my level of anxiety. He did an exam of my teeth. He said I did not need new crowns nor did I need a filling as the other dentist had said. He wants to preserve my natural teeth.
While I do need work it is nothing compare to what I was told by my previous dentist. He has renewed my faith in mankind
I hope he will be my dentist for a very long time.
About Front Desk: The front desk was great. I called, very fearful and Jenny helped me to decide to make an appointment. When I got there, Candy was very helpful and added to my feeling of confidence in the office.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Lawrence Fox, Burke, VA. My husband and I have been going to Dr. Fox for 15 years and have had crowns, veneers, fillings, and emergency needs and Dr. Fox is terrific! His son Eric recently joined the practice and he is fantastic, too. I have never felt pain or stress. When our grandson (not a patient of Dr. Fox) fell and broke out his front teeth, Dr. Fox came to the rescue--after hours, and made our grandson feel so at ease. Did I mention our grandson's regular Reston dentist wasn't going to fit him in until the next day!!! Thank you, Dr. Fox! The Kennedy's

I had terrible dentist as a kid and was so fearful that I would physically shake in the seat. I had put off going for 6 years, then heard about Water-drilling and sedation dentistry and found Dr. Fox. Luckily, I had no issues other than cleaning, but I was so impressed with how thorough, nice, calm, and gentle they all were. He actually pulled up a seat and just talked to me for 15 mins! No dentist had ever done that. Everything about that office is calming and the people are so nice. In a day when everything is about the money, Dr. Fox and team sure cater to the customer. I go now every year with no fear.

I started going to Dr. Fox based on the many positive reviews I found. Although I believe Dr. Fox is a likable and competant dentist, I found his practice to be overly busy, his time with patients very limited and a very rushed atmosphere. One time I was literally five minutes late and was scolded by the receptionist and told I would have to reschedule.
When I had a crown done last year I didn't really question the cost I just thought all dental work was expensive, until I mentioned to my mother how much is cost and she was shocked. She had similar work done at a different dentist and the cost was much less.
Then I took my teenage sons in for their overdue checkups and according to Dr. Fox they each had 3-4 cavities in each quadrant of their mouths, meaning thousands of dollars of dental work. I took them to a new dentist and after his exam he said they had a couple of cavities each to fill and a couple more to watch. Big difference.
We have permanently changed dentist and I cannot recommend Dr. Fox.
About Hygienist: I cannot remember the name of my hygienist but she was terrific. Very professional, gentle, thorough. She offered education and advice without making you feel guilty.

I never felt comfortable there, it was like buying a used car everytime I went in. When Dr Fox did not forward info to my peridonontist, it went to something beyond uncomfortable. The dental hygentists varied greatly in their skills.
