My five year old daughter had her first very little cavity filled by Dr. Golian today with not a single tear! Dr. Golian is now practicing in Springfield, VA. with Dr. Cocolis. We have always felt in safe hands in the office with an exceptional staff but Dr. Golian superseeded my best expectations for a successful visit today.
Dr. Golian made my typically anxious daughter so comfortable and confident by explaining exactly what she was doing in a five year old way. For example, she never said "shot" for the novacaine. Instead, she explained she was putting my daughter's tooth/mouth to sleep.
I would highly recommend Dr. Golian for children and adults. She is consistently respectful and reasurring. I thought that maybe we would need a "specialist" and put my daughter "to sleep" to have the cavity filled. Instead, she STILL loves the dentist! My three and five year old both look forward to going to the dentist. (They are not such fans of the doctor's office either.) I really cannot say enough good things about Dr. Golian. I trust her completely with my children - that says it all!
Another note, the office staff makes filing my insurance painless as well.
