Agree with other reiveiw the practice has changed dramatically since the retirement of Dr. Evans - for the worse. They have lost the personal attention and family friendly atmosphere. Our family experienced poor service. Dr. Marzban fialed to communicate our options and assumed a more expensive treatment was desired. We referred an elderly friend only to have a problem with one tooth escalated into thousands of dollars of implants and restorations of 7 teeth. I would not recommend to anyone else.

As my regular dentist's office was in the middle of a huge construction project (hard to get to, greatly reduced parking), I decided to give Dr. Marzban a try, as I had heard good things, and she is way closer than my regular dentist. The exam was painless, although she did try to convince me that I had about 27 cavities. I never get cavities; the last one I had was when I was pregnant with our daughter- who is 35 now. I was 27 at the time. The one before that was when I was 19.( My regular dentist confirmed I had no cavities.) Overall impression: this practice tries to sell you a bunch of stuff you don't need.

About Hygienist: The x rays were the most painful I have EVER had. My mouth hurt for 3 days afterward.

Dr. Pam replaced all my cosmetic work over a year ago. The previous work was sufficient; however, the work Dr. Pam did to restore my natural look (including two bridges across the upper and bottom front) was an absolute success. When I saw my smile after she finished, it brought me to tears. I had been ashamed of the previous dentist's work, but Dr. Pam told me that the previous work was functional and that she would leave it as was. However, I asked her if it could be improved, and she said "Absolutely." She was very professional about her comments on the previous dentist's work but said that she could/would make me want to smile again. SHE DID!!! Her staff was the warmest welcome outside the home that I've seen in the many years of living in this area. And the modern aspects of the office make you feel clean and secure about being there. Kudos to her and the hard work of her staff at winning me over.

This office has changed dramatically since her partner, Dr. Evans retired, and she took on a new partner, Dr. Braenger. Pros: The new office (next to Bank of America) is bright, clean, and open. Very pleasant decor and modern. A huge improvement from the previous sight (by the gas station). Cons: Very expensive and does not participate or honor insurance rates (not even PPO). They seem to push you on extras that may not be necessary (and are barely covered by insurance). The new partner, is very new and young and does not seem to be thorough -- I have had problems with a couple of the fillings she put in that were not complete. The receptionist, Sally, is extremely rude! The dentists and hygenists are polite and friendly, but I dread any conversation with the receptionist - she's a pickle and insulting. After several years of being a client, I will be moving onto a new dentist, sadly.

I love going to see Dr. Marzban. After missing appointments for 10 years and fearing the worst, the cleaning staff PATIENTLY and GENTLY cleaned the tartar nightmare from my teeth. Dr. M. is quite accessible and takes the time to explain things to you, unlike most other healthcare practitioners who treat you like you're stupid, or like they don't have time for you. I'm not sure how the office rates cost-wise. My insurance covers my cleaning. They don't force x-rays on you every year, which is nice. I had one bad experience with scheduling with one of the receptionists, but I don't think she's there anymore. Receptionists aside, this is a great practice.
