While I had many procedures done by Dr. Tylski over the years, including fillings, crowns, straightening teeth and surgical extractions, including wisdom teeth and gum surgery; I was extremely impressed with the results of many treatments, especially that of the veneers and tooth implants. His staff was very understanding, patient, polite, professional, courteous and patient. There is a strong office staff with years of experience and it showed. His fees were average for the area, except for late night emergencies, which had the standard premium added, but his day time fees were often lower than average for the area. This office does not need to accept insurance payments as they let you know up front that they will provide the needed paperwork to you to file your own insurance. This may be the only drawback, but in my opinion, insurance acceptance takes a second seat to high quality treatment and care that this dr. provides at his office.

I know this doctor: 8 years

Very expensive. Socially awkward. But great work. Had cavities filled. Was rough and a little painful, but afterward couldn't tell they were there.

Dr. Tylski's assistants are fabulous. He's too rough. He doesn't take insurance so that dramatically increases the expense. Dr. Tylski does a good job of communicating with patients and does try to make their experience as pain-free as possible. He just needs to be more gentle with the basics.

On the day before my wedding in 2001, one of my front bottom teeth broke in half! Dr. Tylski successfully replaced the broken portion of my damaged tooth with the caveat that the repair job would only last 1-2 years. Well, it's been six years now, and the tooth still looks great. The only problem I had with his office was the manner in which he treated his billing. He demanded a $500 charge on my credit card before he would agree to even look at me. I have never seen a dentist who demanded patient in advance before. His business practices left a bad taste in my mouth, pun intended. But the results of his work were excellant. Overall, I would give him a thumbs up.

Because of his specialty of treating emergencies, he take extreme advantage of you by charging top dollar for services that typically DO NOT get charged for by your regular dentist. (ie. recently had a broken tooth that cost me $1,300 to fix whereas my dentist told me this afternoon he would have charged me $250). There are other doctors "on call" and I would highly reccommend you think twice before running to this office.

Got in the same day I had a problem, but was disappointed to see that he didn't take any dental insurance, and that filing my insurance was my problem. Given the overall cost of Dr. Tylski, I would have thought that some of this would have beend one by the staff. Overall, staff is OK. Facilities are moderate at best.

Dr. T is great with emergencies, has extended office hours. He is providing my son with Crozats orthodontic treatment. He has corrected problems that other family members had at a previous dentits. He is very good with phobic patients as well.

it seems these people don't understand a thing about dentistry. First off Novocaine hasn't been used for a long time as a local anesthetic (LA) and even if it was, if you have an abscess it won't dull the pain since it needs to be taken into the axon in its free-base form, however the inflamed tissue has a higher pH which prevents this from occuring. If you have a toothache that lingers, that's caused by irreversible pulpitis, the only treatment for that is root canal therapy, or extraction, with the former being the only real treatment since extraction can cause so many harmful effects later on with the bite. It seems that Dr. Tylski did the proper treatment planning, it's just that you're cheap and ignorant, and don't really care about your teeth (you had to have neglected them for a while for them to have gotten to that point.)

Like the most recent poster, I too met Dr. Tylski a few days before Christmass last year when an accident left me with 2 badly broken front teeth. The dentist who I had been using sat me in the chair, looked at my teeth and told me that he could not treat me until after the holiday. Horrified, I turned directly to Dr. Tylski who saw me promtly that day. He was caring, professional and within 2 hours I was ready to go to work with out looking like a freak! At no time did he pressure me to purchase any treatment but what I clearly needed and I was so impressed with his manner that I asked him to complete the permanent crown work. I am pleased with the results to the extent that I have had further much needed work done by him even though my insurance companys' reimbursment has been less than it would have been had I stayed in network. I have found the Doctor and his staff to be courtious, compassionate about my comfort during treatment and I appreciate the fact that I get a follow up phone call after each visit to check on how I'm doing. I suspect that those writing the negative reviews came to the doctor not ready to hear the truth about their condition.

I have to disagree with all of you guys. I first met Dr. T. several years ago when my own dentist would not see me after I broke off half of a molar. It was 9;00 p.m., 3 days before Xmas, and he said that he was too busy to see me becauswe he had company. I searched throught the phone book and Dr. Tylski was the only dentist who would treat me. Being dental phobic, Dr. T. medicated me and fixed my tooth that evening. I was so happy with the compassion and professional treatment that I received. I have been a loyal customer since then. My family had been seeing Dr. Mayberry for a few years, but we are now in the process of switching over because of many bad experiences with Dr. Mayberry. Dr. Mayberry has a lovely staff, however, we are now paying AGAIN for dental procedures that were only done a couple of years ago, which should have lasted at least twice as long. I realize that dentistry is a business, however, we have much longer lasting results with Dr. Tylski. Also, Dr. Tylski's rates are lower. For example, over the last 2 weeks, Dr. T. charged us $166 for a filling, whereas Dr. Mayberry charged $244.00. Another example, Dr. Tylski charged us $100 for xrays, whereas Dr. Mayberry charged $122.
