Dr Johnson started as a great Dentist then it toog 6 months and 10 visits and my number 4 tooth was not fixed from the original root canal he did the day i met him. The filling fell out, 4 times and after 4 visits, when i finally was like "was it supposed to fall out like that? he said "well its your fault youve missed 3 appointments..."when explained that i had made 10 visits for 7 months and the same tooth was still being irrigated and not fixed and in severe pain (he didnt want to prescibe any pain medication at all throughout this process).
Oh and when I went to put in writing that i wanted my Medical Records transferred to a new dentist , he refused until i paid in full (including the 85 dollar missed visit fee's) So , i mean he blamed me, kept getting money from my insurance for 10 visits, didnt fix the tooth and wants to intimidate me on my records and break the law (i checked, its illegal to withhold copies of your records pending payment)
Oh yea my new dentist looked at the original root canal in the number 4 tooth, it didnt go all the way to the root.
And he is extreamly weird, very uncomfortable kind of guy
Please Run and do not see this guy

Dr Johnson is old fashioned dentist in that he focuses on one patient at a time (not hopping from one treatment room to the next). He is very through with his procedures and takes time to do it right. He thoroughly explains the diagnosis and the trement options. He is a bit conservative in selecting treatment procedures as he wants new procedures to proven effective and safe before he uses them on his own patients. He is also very sensitive to patients pain thresholds (although he dose not practice sedation dentistry ). His rates are reasonable (not cheap but ceratinly not expensive) and they are either covered in full or nearly in full by my dental insurance.

He is awesome, He is very caring and Painless. He and is Staff welcome you and make you feel comfortable. I highly recommend him

I have had the pleasure of having Dr. Johnson as my dentist for the past 27 years. I have had two crowns, two Maryland bridges and several cavities treated early on with no complications with his work. I do not take any pain killers while he works, and can tell you honestly I have experienced little or no disconfort while in his care. Over the years I have sent countless freinds and family to Dr. J with glowing reports back.

Would never go back - tried to tell me that I was grinding my teeth and I wasn't, and then put sealants on my teeth without cleaning them first, causing me 5 cavities by the time I got a dentist who could figure out what was going on.

Dr. Johnson is great. He and his staff are efficient, friendly and caring. Our extended family has been going to him for two decades and won't switch even though he is not in our insurance network. It's worth the extra dollars to have someone you trust.
