don't go to this doctor. he is arrogant and disinterested. he acts as though he is doing you a favor taking up his time seeing a patient. And his phone manners are even worse. He certainly doesn't want to waste his time speaking to a patient on the phone with an emergency. We are done with this dentist.

About Front Desk: About as bad a he is.

My Experience: Extraction

I just fired Dr. Keogh for being unprepared, incompetent and lying to me. I arranged an appointment for Dr. Keogh to see my 88 year old Mother for a consult to have 2 teeth pulled. After waiting 45 minutes their excuse was her dentist had not sent over the x-rays. Wrong on two counts. Both offices have his name on every wall possible and his office décor is more important than his patient's well-being. If you want a narcissistic arrogant ego maniac, playing physician go see Dr. Keogh. What a joke.

About Front Desk: They cover for Barry Keogh's incompetence.

My Experience: Exam & Consultation, X-Rays

I needed multiple extractions, and was very nervous and apprehensive. From the moment I came into the office, I was made to feel comfortable and relaxed. From the soothing decor to the pleasant staff members. Dr Keogh is a very gentle Dr. and my experience was wonderful. I was also impressed that Dr Keogh took the time out of his evening to call me after my procedure to see how I was doing, and to answer any questions I had. Not only that but the assistant called the next day as well. Very professional from start to finish.

About Front Desk: Very Helpful, professional.

I went in for a tooth extraction last Tuesday and during the extraction Barry Keogh slammed his forceps into by bottom 2 middle teeth. Although I was completely numb at the time I definitely felt it! Later that evening when I was able to start to feel my face I ran my tongue over where they had been hit and found that my tongue was bleeding from a chip on the inside of my mouth between my 2 bottom front teeth. The very next morning I spoke with his assistant and let her know my concerns. At first she refused to admit it even happened stating that she was there and their were no issues. When I enlightened her on the fact that I was there as well considering it was my mouth they were working on, she then switched her answer to "maybe you were grinding your teeth during the procedure". How in the world can I grind my teeth during the procedure when I had a huge piece of rubber in my mouth that made it impossible to even move it!?!?!?!? She made zero attempt to solve the situation did not ask if I want to come in immediately and have it looked at NOTHING! LIE and DENY was all I received. Fast forward one week and after brushing this morning part of the tooth actually came out and I am now suffering from a lispe. He could care less.

About Front Desk: Front desk could careless as well avoid this dentist like the plague!!!!

I felt like after he got his money that he did not care that I was in pain. He treated me like a little kid that did not know my own mouth and how I should feel. When I did call in pain they gave me an appointment two weeks out. I have decided to go to someone else.

Dr. Keogh performed oral surgery on me. He worked me in very quickly after my accident, which I greatly appreciated. I had several displaced teeth that needed to be reset. The out-of-pocket expenses were comparable for me with other oral surgeons, so cost was not the most important factor. That being said, Dr. Keogh was very upfront about costs and also showed consideration for my budget. Dr. Keogh is rated as one of the best oral surgeons in Colorado, and my experiences with him gave me no reason to believe this is not the case. He answered my questions thoroughly, and I found him to be very knowledgeable. He helped put me at ease before and after surgery. He even called me the night of surgery to check up on me. The surgery went well; the teeth were put back into place, and I saved the teeth. I would definitely recommend him.

I needed a wisdom tooth pulled including surgery and stitches & a molar just above that one. From the minute you walk in the door you are treated like a guest. Staff is incredible, warm, knowledgeable and very calming. Dr Keogh is very calming and so sweet and caring. I was very scared and chose sleep sedation. I am 8 hours past surgery and I am thrilled that the bleeding has stopped, no more gauze for me. I was send home with proper meds for pain, and infection. To anyone in the Aurora, Denver and surrounding areas.... if you need this type of treatment, treat yourself to all the warm, loving, professional treatment that Dr Keogh and his staff have to offer. Oh an I did have dental insurance, and a "care credit" card (which they take) my co-pay on the procedure was very low. I will never again be afraid of having a procedure like this again and I wish for you all to know that ...even though something like this is never "Fun" Dr Keogh and his staff made me feel very safe and comfortable. Lana, Arvada CO ps no, relation to dentist, staff, or company... just a very lucky patient.

I had wisdom teeth removal. His staff is excellent. Dr. Keogh is wonderful and extremely competent. While all my friends had pain, swelling and bruising, I recovered quickly and without much difficulty. Dr. Keogy is so kind and calming, administers the anesthesia himself and had me out of his office 1.5 hours later. He even called in the evening to see if I was ok. I would highly recommend him.

I took my son to have his wisdom teeth removed. First, when you walk into the office and you feel like you are in the DMV. You get to the front desk and they open a window. You sit down they close the window. You don't feel like a valued customer. The surgeon himself was very nice, no complaints. After the evaluation they give you a estimate for surgery fees which is due minus insurance they day of surgery. A couple weeks later I get a bill in the mail saying I owe more money, which is odd because everything they did was on the estimate, nothing more. When I called the office do you think they cared? No, they were very rude. I was told that they were trying to help me (in a extremely condescending way), which do you think they did? They said by law they had to bill me more money and that the numbers on the estimate were off and she was going to take that up with the staff. I said I am going to take this up with the dentist when my son goes into checkup, I was then laughed at by the staff and informed he was a oral surgeonot a dentist. In this economy, it financially killed me to get this procedure done for my son. Then to get a bill for more? Where is my word is my bond in this world? Wish we went elsewhere. Pay close to $2000

He is wonderful, he listened, cared, eased my fears. Took more time than he needed to with me. He even called me at night to see how I was doing after my operation. The surgery was completely painless! The recovery was not bad. ( I had bad teeth.) I don't trust anyone else. WONDERFUL. Thank you for your help Dr. Keogh!
