Completely unprofessional surgeon. I worked alongside of him several years ago, and he was having an affair with his office manager named Nicole for years. He was truly one of the most arrogant, disgusting, unprofessional, egomaniacal, doctors I have ever had the displeasure of meeting and working with. I moved over to a surgical center and never looked back. Years later I heard he was still the same old creepy pervert with his new staff members. Unethical.

About Front Desk: Nicole, his front desk manager, was having an affair with him for years. Unethical.

I was a fireman for seventeen years and was sent to "Dr." Berwick for an evaluation regarding a severe TMJ/myofascial condition after being injured in an ice rescue training accident. He was to determine whether my pain/condition qualified for occupational disability benefits. In short "Dr." Berwick's determination was that there was "no mechanism" to cause my injury (despite nearly a year of extensive documentation to the contrary) and the fact that the man didn't even know what an ice rescue suit was or even how it was constructed. Given the fact that this man was one of my pension company's "doctors" they of course considered his opinion as gospel. Long story short this "Dr." costs me thousands of dollars in pension benefits and thousands more in attorney fee's fighting to get my pension after his reckless determination. I spent several thousand dollars and the next year being seen by several more doctors, I was finally granted an occupational disability based on a myofascial condition consisting of multiple chronic trigger points, and auriculotemporalneuralgia. A condition that is very painful, and the direct result of a TMD condition. This man has no morals and clearly no education, he is unethical and incompetent, STAY AWAY!

I would not recommend this Dentist to anyone. I had a tooth extracted. He did not look over my history or X-rays, nor did he talk to me about them. He introduced himself and said, “Please open your mouth” and he jabbed me with a needle. No warning and no topical. He said, “We don’t do that for adults. It doesn’t work.” It has in the past. The nitrous oxide I requested and pre-paid for was there but not administered. He said, “That stuff doesn’t work.” I insisted on it. I was NOT numb. The nitrous had not been on long enough, nor was it high enough. He did not check to see if I was numb yet he started pulling the tooth. I’m now SCREAMING and he asks if it hurts. He can’t get the tooth out and stops. Again he says, “Did that hurt?” I say, “I thought you were being facetious. When someone is letting out a blood curdling scream, I think that should be self-evident that the person is in pain”! He says, “This is a ’hot’ tooth and you should have been put out for this”. He’s the professional? Why didn’t he determine that ahead of time, tell me, and re-scheduled for another day when I could have been put out? This is only the tip of the ice burg as to what happened throughout the procedure. Berwick has no compassion.

Dr. Berwick removed both of my children's wisdom teeth. He always provides the highest quality of service and care-out of all of the oral surgeons that we have consulted with his credentials and level of service were far superior! He comes highly recommended!

Majorly lacks experiance and professionalism. Definatly in it for the money and doesn't care if your symptoms go away or not. He also has no problem talking bad about other doctors, even ones who are more experienced with higher ratings. I highly reccomend Dr Aragon instead.

Very poor outcome of surgery. The doctor made a huge mistake and acted like it was the patients fault. Very poor communication towards patient and verbal abuse. Patient is very tramatized.

I have had a lot of dental work and oral surgery done over the years and I have to say I wish I'd had Dr. Berwick from the start. I had to get a back molar removed in an emergency and had a serious infection all the way into my jaw. Dr. Berwick and his staff managed to fit me in that day! I can't recommend Dr. Berwick enough!
