Dr. Burns is thorough and skilled. He has a quiet, gentle, compassionate demeanor. I felt completely at ease with the staff, and trusted him completely, even with a difficult procedure.

The staff was amazing. We were put at ease through the entire process. The video answered questions about the procedure and care afterwards. The staff then reiterated the post op instructions prior to our discharge. The care we received was very personal and professional.

I am so happy with the service and surgery I had with Dr. Christopher Burns. He is very professional and such a qualified surgeon. I have had several implants placed by another doctor and had problems with all of them. Dr. Burns helped me with those, plus added 1 more. I am now pain free and can finally eat whatever I want. I would recommend Dr. Burns to anyone looking for a great oral surgeon.

About Front Desk: Everyone at Dr. Burns office is so nice and professional. They have a specialist in different areas that will help you with specific things. Their customer service is excellent.

I took my son to see Dr Burns after he had a bicycle accident. He had knocked out a baby tooth and had some cuts on his lip. We were referred to Dr Burns to make sure that my son did not any other injuries. His staff was the best! They were so welcoming, and Dr Burns was so kind to my son!! Thankfully, nothing major was wrong, like broken facial bones or teeth. I can't understand why Dr Burns has such low ratings on this site, I had nothing but positive experience with his office! Definitely recommend him!

About Front Desk: Dianne and Jane at the front desk are sooooooo nice!

Dr. Burns extracted 4 wisdom teeth. I had a good measure of discomfort for a week after the surgery and needed pain medicine the entire week. It has been a year now and I never regained sensitivity in the lower quandrant of my mouth wherein he struck a nerve while removing one of my lower wisdom teeth. Numerous follow ups with his office to address this problem were unsatisfactory. I also found his dental assistant condescending and patronizing in discussions and observations about my concern. During follow-up visits, I got the distinct sense that he and his assistant were attempting to deflect attention from his inferior surgical results and onto me as a patient attempting to receive some financial gain which I had no interest in. I simply wanted full use of my entire mouth area as I had before the surgery. I would not recommend him as an oral surgeon.

Dr. Burns cut out my 4 impacted wisdom teeth. I was comfortable during the procedure and the staff (including Dr. Burns) was friendly. I was still in pretty severe pain after about a week, and I was worried that something might be wrong, so I called the office. The girl that answered the phone didn't seem very knowledgeable (I don't think she was a trained professional), and she just said that I should expect to have pain for awhile and to take some ibuprofen. Also, one of the sites didn't get stitched up completely and took approx 3 months to heal. It took them awhile to submit the claim to my insurance, and they could have been a little bit more helpful when the insurance company denied the claim. They were slow to send in additional information. Overall, I was very satisfied with the initial exam and the procedure itself, but I was disappointed in the follow-up and the billing.

He removed my wisdom teeth. One of the areas where he extracted a wisdome tooth left me with numbness for which I had to schedule numerous follow up visits over a period of a couple of months. At each visit, he was pecularliarly non-chalant regarding my concern about getting normal feeling back to my mouth area. Additionally, I got the sense in particular from his assistant, that my concern for the numbness of my mouth area might be motivated by an ulterior motive to get monetary gain which infuriated me. I simply had the reasonable expectation for the mouth area where he operated to function normally. Particularly telling was my last visit with his office wherein this same assistant told me to "keep going right out the door." It's been quite a number of months since the surgery and I still have a good deal of numbness in my mouth area. I would never go back to him again nor would I refer anyone to his office.

Removed Wisdom Teeth for all three of my kids. Dr. Burns is very competent and friendly-- his staff is very pleasant and attentive. The surgeries went very well and the recovery was uneventful. My insurance company behaved badly and Dr Burns staff was very patient while we worked it out

I saw Dr. Burns for TMJ. He mis-diagnosed my condition and convinced me to purchase an NTI. It caused me extreme pain and caused my back teeth to come together unevenly. The office personel were friendly for the most part, but were not willing to work with me (I lived out of town) if I was a few minutes late due to traffic.
