Dr. Nix is very knowledgeable, dedicated, caring, polite, overall a true professional and the best in his field. I Highly Recommend him. I had an impacted cuspid that was stuck high up near my sinuses and after attempts to pull it into the arch, it didn't happen. The next best thing to do was pull it so that an implant could go in, but the chances of being able to get it out were very dim due to the fact I am an adult and the tooth has been there for so long possibly fused to bone. Dr. Nix didn't hesitate, and was successful. This will save me so many aches and pains since a bridge was less than ideal based on my situation (damaging adjacent teeth that were already very fragile). Thank you Dr. Nix! You are truly one of a kind.

A return visit to a great doctor! I had two wisdom teeth extracted about 4 yeas ago and returned for another extraction. Just a very good experience over all. Very professional and a staff that truly cares for your wellbeing. The procedure was, again, successful... no pain or complications.

About Front Desk: Very efficient and helpful in completing the necessary administrative procedures, Friendly and a pleasure to work with.

Dr. Nix is a great surgeon, his staff is just as great. I had all four of my wisdom teeth extracted in about 40 minutes. The procedure itself was completely painless. I was provided with everything to make sure my recovery would be as comfortable as possible. Dr. Nix even called me that evening himself to check on me. I would highly recommend him and his staff. He's a very friendly guy and is always open to answering any questions you may have about your procedure.

Dr. Nix removed my wife's wisdom teeth. There was no lingering pain. There were no complications. It was all done right the first time. Although she was quite apprehensive at first, he and his staff calmed her fears--and did an outstanding job. If my family needs dental surgery beyond the basics offered by our regular dentist, we would try to schedule Dr. Nix. Recommended without hesitation.

I went in for a wisdom tooth extraction and I could tell he was apprehensive about it. He sedated me and then I woke up and he said he had started on it and then thought it was too difficult and stopped. He said they were too impacted to proceed and he didn't want to do it. After that, one tooth was slightly exposed. Two days later it proceeded to get infected and put me in the hospital for three days. That was 7 years ago. I just thought that was the way it was. I continued to have problems with the one tooth that was exposed until I had to have something done. I recently (2007) went to an oral surgeon in Lewisville (Dr Martin)and he was excellent. All four teeth were extracted in about an hour and the follow ups were great. (No whining from him about how hard it was although he did say it was tricky) Now I realize that this joker (Dr. Nix) had no idea what he was doing. I still have issues with that upper right side of my mouth because of the incompetence by Dr. Nix. Please do not let him do anything to you. He is a poor excuse for an oral surgeon. You can e-mail me at stan790@verizon.net if you want more details. Believe me, I am not a vindictive person, but there was an injustice here and I want people to be warned.

Dr. Nix has performed wisdon teeth extraction on three of our four children. Each time, the surgery and recovery has been uneventful, despite having all four teeth done at once. His costs are moderate and he does excellent quality work. This summer he will do our last child. i approach his prodecure with confidence and comfort knowing him as I do professionally as well as from church. Highly recommended.
