my wife had one of her wisdom teeth removed and while in the procedure they cut the inside of her left lower lip, which happens i understand that, well it turned into an infection and her lip and left side of her face became swollen, she went to see dr. wentz and he said these things just happen, it will heal and that her husband (myself) exaggerated a bit, even though it had been 5 days already and was getting worse not better. the next day the pain got worse and she went to see a dentist at danville dental associates. he said there is no reason they didn't give you an antibiotic after he saw this sore on the inside of her lip that he said was definitely infected and was causing the whole side of her mouth and face to be swollen. he gave her an antibiotic and she is finally getting better. i am not upset that they cut her lip, im not even upset they didn't initially give her antibiotics. i am upset that once it turned into an infection dr wentz blew it off, said i exaggerated, and said it would heal. if we had waited for it to "heal" on its own my wife probably would have had to go to the hospital with sepsis. thank you danville dental, no thank you dr wentz
