The doctor is fine, but his front office staff is not helpful. They charged me up front for surgery, but did not refund my money after my insurance paid. It took more than a dozen emails, only to be told that their "policy" was refunds take 4-6 weeks! When I finally got a refund, they did not refund the full amount and have not explained why. Its unfortunate that this doctor does not have a better front office staff.

My 7 year old son had to have some oral surgery to have three of his teeth removed. Dr. Rubens and his staff did a wonderful job of making this easy for my son. They made him laugh and put him at ease. Their office is very nice. My kids loved the fish tank and the wonderful photographs of fish in the office. They handled all the insurance processing with ease. My son recovered quickly and we were very pleased with the results. I'd highly recommend Dr. Rubens and his staff. They were very efficient and professional.

I had my wisdom teeth removed here and I couldn't have asked for a better place. Durring my intial exam Dr. Rubens was very detailed on his proceedure, his assistant then came in to review my pre and post operative instructions, after that then their financial director came in the explain the payment details. The day of my surgery, the whole staff was friendly to me. With the anetheics, I was told I'd be out in 15 seconds and thats all I remember. When I woke up, I was very cold and the nurse had gotten me a blanket, and still shaking, she put a second one in the dryer form me. Then Dr. Rubens and his assistant soke to my husband with detailed instruction on how to take care of me. Then when I was ready to go home they sent me on my way with a small care package with a couple soft foods, 7-up, extra gauze, an ice pack and a special bag incase if I got sick on my way home. I drive over 40 miles go to Bothell to see my regular dentist and when she reccomending me to Dr Ruebens 2 miles from her, I didn't have any doubts. I feel that Dr. Rubens office was extremely friendly and acutally cares about their cliets. The cost was very reasonable less than expected. I reccomend this practice to anyone.

I was very pleased with the outcome of my oral surgery. The sedation procedure to remove my wisdom teeth was stress and pain free. Recovery time was short and uncomplicated. The cost was comparable to other oral surgeons. I appreciated Dr. Rubens professional manner and attention to detail. I highly recommend him.
