My daughter (4) had to have several teeth filled. She is very spirited (aka kolohe) and we were worried about the procedure. She came out telling us Dr. Teruya was kind and he made sure she didn't hurt. That meant the world.
Dr. Teruya was able and willing to fill her teeth with composite (white fillings) instead of traditional amalgam.
Before the procedure he explained what types of anesthesia were appropriate and the specific tools he would use. The communication was helpful in making the process as smooth as possible. He has a very calm demeanor which is reassuring to patient and parents.
Both my husband and I would recommend Dr. Teruya to anyone.
