My son had multiple cavities Dr. Carron filled. I found her condescending; she lacked good communication as well as a soft touch you'd expect from a pediatric dentist.
Two examples of the above:
The first time my son saw a dentist at the age of 3 (as my Peditrician recommended), the Dr. Carron's hygentist informed me that my son had very pitty teeth and several cavities. Dr. Carron's response, "You know you aren't supposed to put a child to sleep with a bottle." Uh, yep - I knew that and hadn't done it. She had come highly recommended so I overlooked this.
The last visit my child (who was sedated) complained that he was in pain which she kept telling him it didn't (well, the next day's visit to the Pediatrian showed he had an ear infection on that side so I guess the kid knew what he was talking about). In addition, after she filled additional cavities without informing me that they were there until I asked why it was taking so long. I couldn't believe that she wouldn't have said anything to me prior to beginning the session with him.
When his experience with Dr. Carron ended, my son had all of his lower back teeth filled and all of his upper on one side filled. That was 3 years ago and he has not had a single cavity!
