I wish there is an option to give no star because this Office deserves none. We recently moved into the area so I had to look for another dental office for my kids. I searched and chose this Office because of location. The Office was small, which it was okay. Similar to the other reviewer, we found the lady of the front desk was beyond terrible and rude. We were told that my son needs 8 filing. The dentist provided no additional information such as what type of filing he needed and where, other than front and back teeth. Okay, that was fine. He needs filings. But, PRIOR to making the follow up appointment, I asked 2 or 3 times about the cost. For whatever reason, the person at the front desk did not wanted to share the information with us. However, we were told by the dentist that she would do 3 or 4 filings per visit. That was all the information we had. We showed up on our scheduled appointment. I was still concerned about the cost so I asked the lady at the front desk how much would it cost per filing. We were told that it would cost $220 per filing and there is a copay of $50 per visit. The dentist would do 1 filing per visit. It would cost me about $800 after insurance! Are you kidding me? Why wasn't I told about this before? I would NEVER had made the appointment had they been more upfront about the cost! AND I did ask a couple of times prior to making the appointment. At that point, I wanted to cancel the appointment, but I was told there would be a $75 cancellation fee. I argued and explained that we were never had made the appointment if they told me about the cost of filings. At the end, I thought the lady finally understood and waived the cancellation fee. I thanked her and said bye. Today, I received a bill including the $75 cancellation fee. AGAIN, they had misled me! The cancellation fee cost just as much as the cost of 1 filing with insurance. If I had know that they were not waving the cancellation fee, I would not have left without my son getting any treatment. This is probably the shadiest office I have ever been to. Three things I've learned from this experience: 1. Don't just choose a dental office based on location. Read the reviews. 2. Don't choose a dental office that is not upfront with cost and fees. 3. Don't choose a dental office that has rude and misleading staff members. It is not worth the headaches.
