Always a good visit to this office. Entire staff is warm and friendly. Insurance benefits well explained by front desk, hygienists and doctor are thorough and wonderful with kids. I wish they would treat adults

My son's first couple visits were fine, but they became inconsistent after. I noticed a lack of patience during a couple visits, and skipping parts of the cleaning process so they wouldn't have to deal with any inconvenience. I would not have minded them skipping certain things, but they still billed us for those parts even though they were not done (fluoride). I decided to change practices and even while canceling my son's appointment weeks in advance, the front desk person was not pleasant.

Our first three visits were good. The nurse Tracy is very sweet and gentle, and the doctor did her job very well. Our Last visit was terrible. They assigned a nurse "L" who didn't say any comforting words and even a warm smile to my son THE WHOLE PROCESS! Oh, she did say Hello and Bye to us. My son was such a helpful patient and didn't even move during the process, but at the end of last treatment, the doctor kept saying"Don't move your tongue!", and I can tell she lost her patience. My son was having "Baby Root Canals" treatments for two teeth, and he just got 5. How could you expect a 5 year old not even move his tongue during the half hour root canals treatment with tubes and drills in his mouth!!! The nurse "L" was not helpful at all, didn't say any words to comfort my son. My son was upset after the treatment, and when I saw him in the evening, his whole lower lip was swollen!!! Inside his mouth, I saw a big piece of skin was broken due to the rough tools. The swollen is still there and today is the third day of the treatment! I don't know if it's because my son behaved so well for the first three visits so they don't need to be gentle any more. Bad experience.

I’m the author of the 10/13/2015 post. Unfortunately, this site doesn’t allow me to remove the review. So here’s another review of the Office. Since my previous post back in October, I’ve taken my son back 4-5 times including another cleaning this last month. The truth is that my kids love it there, especially my son who had his cavities removed here. My son used to be afraid of the dentist, but with Dr. Shari, he was happy to see her every time. He doesn’t cry when we tell him that we are taking him to see the dentist. In fact, he said “yeah!” I guess it was easy to see why he was happy to go. All the staff members took great care of him and made him feel comfortable. He also loves the fact that he gets a toy at the end of the visit. Back in October, I misunderstood the cost of my son’s cavity treatment. The Office was nice enough to remove the cancellation fee when we went back to have my son’s cavities filled. They even sent me a letter with an itemized cost of each treatment, which I found it helpful. We plan to continue to go back to this Office because of the following reasons: 1. My kids just love all the staff members 2. Dr. Shari took her time in estimating my kids and explained to me prevention care

About Front Desk: 3. Everyone work to ensure my kids would have a good experience at the office Hope you’ll find this review helpful.

I wish there is an option to give no star because this Office deserves none. We recently moved into the area so I had to look for another dental office for my kids. I searched and chose this Office because of location. The Office was small, which it was okay. Similar to the other reviewer, we found the lady of the front desk was beyond terrible and rude. We were told that my son needs 8 filing. The dentist provided no additional information such as what type of filing he needed and where, other than front and back teeth. Okay, that was fine. He needs filings. But, PRIOR to making the follow up appointment, I asked 2 or 3 times about the cost. For whatever reason, the person at the front desk did not wanted to share the information with us. However, we were told by the dentist that she would do 3 or 4 filings per visit. That was all the information we had. We showed up on our scheduled appointment. I was still concerned about the cost so I asked the lady at the front desk how much would it cost per filing. We were told that it would cost $220 per filing and there is a copay of $50 per visit. The dentist would do 1 filing per visit. It would cost me about $800 after insurance! Are you kidding me? Why wasn't I told about this before? I would NEVER had made the appointment had they been more upfront about the cost! AND I did ask a couple of times prior to making the appointment. At that point, I wanted to cancel the appointment, but I was told there would be a $75 cancellation fee. I argued and explained that we were never had made the appointment if they told me about the cost of filings. At the end, I thought the lady finally understood and waived the cancellation fee. I thanked her and said bye. Today, I received a bill including the $75 cancellation fee. AGAIN, they had misled me! The cancellation fee cost just as much as the cost of 1 filing with insurance. If I had know that they were not waving the cancellation fee, I would not have left without my son getting any treatment. This is probably the shadiest office I have ever been to. Three things I've learned from this experience: 1. Don't just choose a dental office based on location. Read the reviews. 2. Don't choose a dental office that is not upfront with cost and fees. 3. Don't choose a dental office that has rude and misleading staff members. It is not worth the headaches.

Dr. Summers was extremely friendly and professional. She treated my daughter with the utmost care. We visited her office twice. The initial visit was for a cleaning and some xrays. The second was to have some extractions. Dr. Summers made sure to make my daughter feel comfortable and she even took the time to show her the xrays and explain to her what was on them. My daughter left her office on both occassions very happy.
