I was referred to Dr Drew Moore by dentist John Barras. I needed an implant in my lower left jaw. I am keen to share my positive experience with others considering periodontal treatments.
Dr Moore explained the procedure in detail to me when we first met. We subsequently scheduled a date for surgery. I have to say that Dr Moore as well as his staff did everything to put me at ease. The procedure of drilling a whole in the jaw was painless after Dr Moore administered the anesthetic. From what I could see on the post-op x-ray the orientation of my artificial root seemed perfect.
The pain medication Dr Moore prescribed was very effective. I switched to a non-narcotic painkiller after a few days and steadily reduced the number of painkillers to zero on post-op day 14. Wound is healing very nicely; gums are back in their natural shape.
Apart from his technical skill, I would recommend Dr Moore for his patient care and attention to detail. He's very accessible and in fact called me several times following the operation to check on me and how I was dealing with the post-op pain. Later on, we exchanged several emails and again Dr Moore was quick to respond to my questions.
Don't hesitate to call on Dr Moore, he's witty too!
