I've been to so many yucky dental offices that this one blew me away! It is incredibly nice and clean. My friend recommended the office and I'm glad I made the appointment here. I could tell the office staff was going to be amazing from my first phone call. She even called me back to make sure I was able to find a babysitter in case I needed to reschedule (it's tough to find good customer service in Dallas). I felt like I was in good hands from the start.
I went in for a routine checkup and a toothache. I felt relaxed and pampered with the massage mat on my chair. The cleaning and exam was very thorough. Dr. Shaw is very polite and honest. I need to go back in for a crown (old filling had gone bad). I asked about getting fillings on a few of my back teeth where the gums have receded, but Dr. Shaw said it wasn't a good idea if I've still got a bad night-time clenching problem. I had heard mixed things about receded gums. The last dentist was pressuring me to get it done, but I had heard it might cause problems later. Now, I'm pretty sure they were just trying to make extra money. I trust Dr. Shaw with my upcoming crown procedure. The price is reasonable and I only pay half with my dental coverage
