I had bad experience with Dr. Brooks. He was very nice and had gentle voice, but I got infections in my gums after having root canal done by him, and not only had to be treated with anitbiotics to control low fever, which lasted two weeks or so. The crown was too big and I had to went back there. He redid it a little but afterwards a big gap between the crown and the adjacent tooth appeared. Now wherever I go, I have to have my floss with me. He said he could redo it again if the crown was still too big, but I lost trust in him. During the two weeks of low fever, he didn't respond to my page calls promptly. Usually it took one day or two to get his call. He kept prescribing Pennicilin but it didn't work well. I went to see my primary care physician, whose prescription stopped the fever immediately. (After the fever, I was soon diagnosed a thyroid problem, which is possibly related to the fever caused by the dental work.) I think the patients need an efficient dentist but a mediocre one with the so-called "gental touch".

I know this doctor: several months
