This complaint has more to do with the office as a whole. On my first visit, I thought I was getting a cleaning. Instead, when I met with Dr. Brooks, I got a consultation, was charged a copay, and told to book a 2nd appt for cleaning. The earliest cleaning date was two months away. I took it. Being that it was so far in advance, I completely forgot about the appt. (my fault), but I never got a reminder call from the office (which is what my other dentists used to do). When I realized I had forgotten the appt, I called and found out I had just missed it. I was told I had to reschedule. Earliest appt... two more months away. Displeased, I took it. Then a week before this new appt, I got a call from the office (apparently they call if they need to cancel, but don't call to remind you of your appt). I was told that they needed to move my appt. The earliest they could offer me was another month away. My first appt, which turned out to be only a consultation, was back in May. I have been waiting since then to get my teeth cleaned. The proposed new reschedule date would push my cleaning to the middle of November. With only one hygenist, I think their office is grossly understaffed incapable of handling their patient load.
