I went for a consultation for a crown. Dr. Robins verbally promised to warranty her work for 1 year. It was a paid consultation. The doctor advised an implant for me, costing thousands of dollars.I asked for references from her prior implant patients. I made an appointment for tooth prep for the crown. At this appointment I was told that the lab charged a color match fee which she would take off as a courtesy to me.
Two weeks later the permanent crown was cemented on. The receptionist, asked for the payment. The doctor said she had changed her mind and decided to charge me the lab fee.
I was foolish enough to pay her. I even paid the extra charge trusting her. The next day I received an email saying that she had decided her dental practice was not the best place for me to go for dental care. She would be inactivating my records. I called the Department of Health and discovered she has 9 complaints against her.I called and asked her why I received such a letter from her. Her answer : 2 members of her staff complained and she noticed that I asked too many questions! Wish I had heeded to the negative reviews that are circulating about her.
