I loved this dentist. I could only be a part of his practice for 2 years due to a switch in insurance, but in that time I had a crown redone and a filling.
I have been through 3 dentists in the past decade and Belford was definitly the best. He balenced modern equipment and techniqes with basic common sense. He did not seem to have the failing of other dentists I have seen: too much time and money spent playing with unnecessary gizmos.
He was very effecient and the quality of the work was excellent. While the crown was not cheap (~$1000) it was not much more expensive than my prior dentist who's work did not stand up for more than a few years.
About pain: I have very sensitive teeth and a fear of dentists. Belford did an excellent job of listening to me and I experienced virtually no pain!
His offices are clean, the staff is nice. Furthermore he was very upfront and accurate about price and service estimates. I appreciated the fact that he made my options known, but he did not try to upsell me like many dentists will.
At this point the rest of my family goes there and I have yet to hear a complaint, and I would still be going there if I could
