I've been with dr. schmidt for approx 6 years. i was with him when his office was by san diego state university. when he moved i thought i could just stay with the dentist that took over his office, but when i started getting a tooth ache that wouldn't go away i called him in oceanside, ca. it's a good 40 min from my home, but my peace of mind going to him is worth it. i needed a root canal & was petrified. he assured me that i would be fine & gave me some type of gas that literally put me in la la land. i felt absolutely nothing. he doesn't make me feel like an idiot because i'm so frightened. him & his whole staff treated me with the utmost respect & compassion. i'd go to him if he was in los angeles, he's that good.
