I went to Dr. Barr for an initial visit and cleaning, followed by 2 fillings. On the second filling, I had a poor reaction to the anaesthesia. After 22 days, I still have no feeling in half of my tongue. While I have spoken to him over the phone, he has had little regard for the fact that I cannot eat anything hard (like bread) or anything hot. He keeps on insisting that this reaction is normal, and he has done everything he could do. I am very dissatisfied with his follow up care and his disregard for how I feel. He has been extremely paternalistic, noting that I should be happy that the feeling will be back in 6 months. While his original services were acceptable, his follow up care has been terrible. I will not be returning and will not recommend him to anyone.
