All of my experiences have been fair to very poor, and I've been seeing Dr. Skoog for 20 years (couldn't switch because I was under my parents' dental plan). Dr. Skoog seems to take a very "hands off" approach; he's not about preventative dental health, that's for sure. He prefers to wait until something goes wrong and forces you to make a series of appointments scheduled over several months for treatment that should/could be taken care of quickly. It's not uncommon to go in for a cleaning and then wait 2-5 months for a filling. Sometimes you have so many distant appointments scheduled that you have no idea what you're going in for when the day arrives. (They don't tell you while they're working either.) When I raise concerns about my teeth, my questions are commonly ignored or poorly answered. There is a clear lack of communication between doctor, hygienest, and patient. They had SIX YEARS to fix all the cosmetic problems after I had my braces off and it never got done! A few things were addressed, but 'til this day I have ongoing trouble. According to DoctorOogle.com, Skoog's dental practice is ranked 17 out of 18 in Palatine, IL. There's a reason for that...

About Hygienist: It's a mixed bag. They have a fantastic hygienist, an older lady with blonde hair, I don't know her name. A few of the others are AWFUL.
