Being new here, I selected this dentist by internet reviews. The physical office is comfortable & the support staff are wonderful. I needed 4 lower teeth removed & wanted to re-use my partial by having new ones inserted into it. Dr Myers said that couldn’t be done & I’d get a “temporary” lower denture that could be re-lined in 6 months & it'd work just fine. They took X-rays & impressions but the temporary was twice the height I needed, pinched & cut into the lower part of my gums (they had my partial as a comparison - ?). On my return visit Dr Pope said I had a bone spur that he could "grind down." I received NO deadening agent!! When he started "grinding" the pain was excruciating & I had to stop the procedure. Then he told me that my "permanent" denture would be custom-made & fit perfectly. WHAT??? It would cost as much as the extractions & "temporary." I repeated what Dr Myers had told me & he said that wasn't true. I'd HAVE to get a "permanent" - not an option for me!!! I had to go without teeth for 3 months.he ONLY wants your hard-earned money!!! (I later found a dentist who inserted the 4 missing teeth at less than 1/3 the cost of a "new permanent” denture - it fits & looks perfect!!!).
