In 2008 I received a root canal and porcelain crown. A good amount of my crown fitting was done by a girl who had not attended school and was receiving on the job training.However, he left her alone and them came in to check on her periodically. I trusted that he left her alone because he had faith she knew what she was doing. About a month after my treatment the crown didn't feel right, it felt like it was too high and my upper teeth always hit the lower when I would eat or talk. I called and was told that it would settle in. So I waited a few more months and nothing had changed. Then after calling to get a resolve, I was told that too much time had passed to fix anything. While out of the state in 2011 after dealing with this for 3 years, the pain in the gum area down to my jaw was tremendous. I went to an emergency dentist to see what they could do, the Doctor shaved my crown down so that I wouldn't continuously bite down on it causing constant impact to the area.Since that procedure it has been more tolerable.The issue that still remains today as was from the beginning is the crown does not sit all of the way down to the gums. There is a large gap. I can stick my finger nail in between and still have wiggle room.6 yrs of this!

Being new here, I selected this dentist by internet reviews. The physical office is comfortable & the support staff are wonderful. I needed 4 lower teeth removed & wanted to re-use my partial by having new ones inserted into it. Dr Myers said that couldn’t be done & I’d get a “temporary” lower denture that could be re-lined in 6 months & it'd work just fine. They took X-rays & impressions but the temporary was twice the height I needed, pinched & cut into the lower part of my gums (they had my partial as a comparison - ?). On my return visit Dr Pope said I had a bone spur that he could "grind down." I received NO deadening agent!! When he started "grinding" the pain was excruciating & I had to stop the procedure. Then he told me that my "permanent" denture would be custom-made & fit perfectly. WHAT??? It would cost as much as the extractions & "temporary." I repeated what Dr Myers had told me & he said that wasn't true. I'd HAVE to get a "permanent" - not an option for me!!! I had to go without teeth for 3 months.he ONLY wants your hard-earned money!!! (I later found a dentist who inserted the 4 missing teeth at less than 1/3 the cost of a "new permanent” denture - it fits & looks perfect!!!).

Greedy, greedy greedy. Tried to insist on replacing 3 crowns and what poor shape they were in. It was just a matter of time, he said. When I insisted I had no pain in those areas he had the NERVE to compare a tooth issue with CANCER. Really? HAve you ever known someone with cancer??? Sick, greedy, sorry-of-an-excuse for a Dr. Clearly he is more interested in making money than the actual well begin of patients and building a long term customer relationship.
After putting up with the his hard selling tequniques for 3 years, I found a new dentist who said there was no immediate need to work on the 3 teeth Dr. Greed was insistant on replacing with new crowns. Cant belive he is still in business.
About Hygienist: Just Awful. Always a 2 hour ordeal. And greedy - for 2 years said I needed deep cleaning for $1000 out of pocket cost to me. 2nd opinion - new dentist lauged at the absurdity. Said there is NO WAY they could have gotten that approved by an insuance company. My teeth and gums proved to be in very good condition.
