general dentistry - he rarely examined my teeth after a cleaning. I even had to request a crown, which his hygienist agreed that I needed one. He asked which tooth needed the crown. His assistant let me leave after the prep with impression clay on my chin. The crown was installed without any further examination of my mouth. Needless to say I have consulted another dentist.
