I saw Dr. Hutchinson b/c I have my front tooth capped, and I was having problems with it (the bonding had been redone by another dentist in his office a year prior, and it didn't feel right-- It hurt to bite down, etc.) First I had the other dentist redo the bonding, but it felt too thick, so I went back the next day and had to see Dr. Hutchinson. He wasn't careful when sanding down the tooth at all, and now it's much too thin and hurts all the time. Furthermore, when I tried to explain to him that it was too thin (and that I was only hitting the other tooth when I bit down), he took the drill to the other tooth, then yelled at me when I jumped! Granted, there is slight bonding on the other tooth, but this was definitely not the problem-- It's been there for 10 years without any problems. Furthermore, the shape of the bonded tooth is totally wrong. It is significantly smaller than the one next to it, and I can see where the non-chipped part extends beyond the bonding. He is careless in his work, and has left me with a tooth that hurts all the time and is also noticeably smaller than the other tooth.
