I met Dr. Torchia by referral from my dentist due to an infection in the roots of tooth #30. Dr. Torchia explained the standard procedure to treating this type of infection. I stated that surgery is the last resort for me and what other courses could we try before resorting to surgery (not to mention a week from Thanksgiving!).
We agreed that I would try a 10 day course of Clindimycin HC 300 (3/day). Seems to have cleared up ok - I go back in a few days for a look-see.
Dr. Torchia is very pleasant. Didn't get defensive when I stated that I wanted to try Rx first. Staff is pleasant and effecient.
