Dr. John Hildebrandt has been my, and my family's oral surgeon of choice for a long, long time. Not that anyone ever really wants to need oral surgery... but when you must, choose your doctor wisely.
This man is very well trained, highly experienced and compassionate, and his modern office is well equipped with every gizmo necessary to ensure safety and comfort. He will also work you in on short notice in an emergency. I know; I had one recently.
Clearly, no oral surgery is what I'd consider "cheap," (as in the smiley-face choices above), but would you even want a cut-rate surgeon poking around in your mouth? He does offer flexible financial arrangements to assist with the costs.
So far, I've only needed extractions, one rather complex, and the outcomes were all just fine; no complications at all. But I'm due for an implant soon, and I'll let you know how this works out when I've healed.
Are there any negatives about this practice? Only one I can think of: Dr. John is a big, strong fellow and has hands to match. They don't fit in my mouth a nicely as the skinny Chinese dentist I once had:)
