I enjoyed my visit with my son. We had to wait but it was expected. People now a days just don't have any patience. Understanding time is gold. Some people are ridiculous. I loved his professionalism and time he spent with us. Thank you Dr. Ray and Staff

Wait upon the Lord comes to my mind first when referring to DR Ray which was the fourth orthodontist we visited while desperately seeking help with my then 15 year old daughter. Awr lacking any kind of compassion and actually being rudely rejected by one in Laurel. Finally right there in front of us was DR office in the open Laurel shopping center(Just Braces) looking back it would make since to specialize in braces. Great bed side manner compassionate and soft spoken getting it right the first time with little or no waiting time. Upon leaving the office the first visit I felt the biggest since of peace after we had been trying to accomplish this for a good two years I had been humiliated leaving one particular dental office in tears never getting a call back.. I knew I had been tested because in the end Dr.Ray proved to show Compassion and grace through these braces. I highly recommend Dr. Ray to anyone that is seeking braces.

I would recommend Dr. Ray to anyone needing braces. His office is so comfortable his staff very friendly and he himself is very friendly. His work is very professional and neat . He makes my kids feel real comfortable.

My oldest daughter having previous dental hardware when we return back to the states in 2005, seem to be very challenging for finding an Orthodontist to continue the care. Finding Dr. Ray has truly been a blessings to my family. I have since had my youngest daughter under the care of Dr. Ray and again he has proven to be one of the best. His staff is proven to be very effective as well as concerned about the patients needs. having the opportunity to witness the smiles of my daughters was well worth every appointment and reasonably cost to me and my family. I strongly recommend Dr. Robert Ray and his Staff for any of your dental needs.

Overall, Dr. Ray is a good orthodontist.The office visits have been uncomfortably long yet occassionally timely.Dr Ray has other offices and the office hours are narrow but the techs are there from 9-5.The benefits servicing turned out okay but working out problems with admin staff was very difficult.On the other hand, they filed for all the insurance. Had there not been a misunderstanding, I would give their back office high marks.The technicians were good and once in the chair things moved along efficiently.The treatment rooms were comfortable and well-staffed.Having been to an office on the other side of town of a different orthodontist, I would observe that Dr Ray has not splurged on the digital imaging equipment but charges fees that are almost as high.Orthodontia is expensive.Nevertheless, the convenience of being in the neighborhood far outweighs that consideration.
Dr. Ray has a very nice personality and manner and seems competent.I have had two children treated with Dr. Ray. My recommendation is based on his location and satisfaction with the results.

Customer service in this office is terrible. I've had my braces on for 4.5 years. I was only supposed to have them for 3 years and if the office was run properly, I would have them off by now. You can NEVER get an appointment in the allotted 4-6 weeks. Instead, the appointments vary from 8-12 weeks, doubling and tripling the time required for the braces. A 15 minute appointment lasts 1-2 hours. The problem is that the office is UNDERSTAFFED and OVER BOOKED with patients. This doctor should not be accepting new patients. BEWARE!! I went to a new orthodontist for a consultation, and he told me that he has about 3-4 new patients a year transferring from Dr. Ray's office with the same complaints. THIS MUST STOP!!

Good dentist, but always seems to be rushing with patients because his office is always flooded with people. Appointment times easily go over time by 1-2 hours and he is always overbooked because he's much cheaper than most other ortho's in the area.
