This office is one of the most professional offices for orthodontists in the ATLANTA area. Every dentist I have been to has them at the top of their referral list. I had to switch orthodontists three times before coming to Kock/Evans upon the referral of my dentist and more personally - my mom who had great results. They are not the cheapest by any stretch of the imagination but you get what you pay for. After three years my bite is finally falling into place and Dr. Koch has worked magic. It is truly amazing to watch the transformation a true professional can bring about not to mention the fulfilled promise of being in and out in a year. I have referred my girlfriend and her brother to their practice and would do the same for anyone else. They are by far the best.

First, I want to say that Dr. Evans is a great guy and good ortho, unfortunately it appears that he has either taken on a partner or sold his practice (Dr. Koch) resulting in very poor service, and in our case additional appointments because what Dr, Koch planned to happen and the results we were told would happen regarding my daughters braces didn't!... the correction did not have the proper results.
At first, with Dr. Evans everything went along like clock work, then we started getting bad results from Dr. Koch's corrections resulting in even more corrections, more appointments and a longer time in braces.
There is also the problem that they simply have too many patients resulting in a near impossibility to get timely appointments.. and the attitude in the office is too bad, so sad! You will come when it is convenient for us! Maybe I expect too much, but when I am paying thousands of dollars for a service, I expect better. I would recommend Dr. Evans all day long, but the "unknown" quantity Dr. Koch, plus the overload of patients, inflexibility and lack of appointment spaces means I can no longer recommend.

Dr Evans and his staff did a great job with my older two children. However, with my third I have to say he and his staff did a poor job. His staff kept trying to bill us beyond the agreed upon amount in the contract we signed. Their only reply was they were told to do this. Then after Dr Evans removed the braces and began adjusting the retainer he made a mistake in an adjustment and ended up "pulling" a tooth down messing up the bite and now the teeth are uneven. We have gone to another orthodontist to correct his error costing me thousands of dollars. I heard he is selling his pratice, but do not know why he is retiring early.

The final results are great, but this doctor and some of his technical staff (other staff members are terrific) have no concern for pain in their patients. They tend to blame the patient for broken wires, etc., even when the patient is not at fault. Dr. Evans and some of his technicians need to learn a few people skills.
Despite the great final outcome. I would not recommend him. Several members of my family have been patients and all agree with me.

Dr. Evans and his staff are very professional. We have had nothing but positive results from our many visits with our daughter. Our daughter just received the "Best Smile" award of her Senior Class. We give Dr. Evans full credit!
Our son will be getting his braces soon. We know we will get wonderful care and service once again for him.

Pricing is deceptive over what my insurance allows them to charge me, even though they do have a contract with them. Ask up front what the cost is before discounts and you will get an answer like a car dealer. Do you plan to finance? Do you want this $500 discount or that discount? Turned out final cost before discounts was more than they were allowed to charge by my insurance company (with which they had a contract). I asked specifically what they were allowed to charge by insurance company and they told me "whatever they want". Dumb me went ahead and signed their contract with me thinking it would work itself out. Turns out the price after discounts was just under their max allowable charges -- without discounts, it was way over.
My insurance company faxed them a copy of their insurance agreement. Dr. Evans and his staff still refuse to discuss the matter any further and I am still paying too much.
I generally don't mind paying a little extra for better service, but I like to know up front, instead of feeling cheated.

Dr. Evans is great. He first had my daugter then my son and there teeth look awesome, and im hoping to take my other children there. His facilitys are buitiful and kept clean. there are computers video games a childrens area it is great. dr. Evans should be ur only choice
