First I will say that I believe Dr. Prouse is probably a good dentist. He has poor bedside manners
Last month, I called for an appointment because I had severe pain with heat and asked only if I could come in for an x-ray and if needed, a prescription for an antibiotic. As I have mitral valve prolapse, I am always concerned about a heart infection. I was told he could not see me for four days. My husband and I are excellent patients, pay all bills, good insurance, never miss an appointment.b The x-ray could have been taken by the assistant and, Dr. Prouse could have checked it, and I would have been there for a very short time. However, he decided I could wait. Absolutely no compassion.
I had to call another dentist who told me I had a lesion and needed a root canal. Prior to the root canal, Dr. Prouse removed a three unit bridge, built up the tooth that required a root canal and put in a temporary bridge..
When it was time for me to return to the endodontist, I called Dr. Prouse's office to find out if my bridge had returned from the lab, I found out that Dr. Prouse made an error and had it coming back 31 days after it should have been back.
I believe BEA, OM, an angel, has saved him many patients!!!

Dr. Prouse is a great Doctor. His staff is atentive and is willing to do what ever the can to make your visit a plesent one.

I have been a patient for 20 plus years and even though I've moved more than 60 miles one way away from his office, I'd think of no other dentist I'd go to. I make the drive! His dental practice, staff and his expertise are WELL WORTH IT.

Dr. Prouse's office is very pleasant and comfortable. After having extensive dental work in 40 years, he covers the basics well, but I'm not overwhelmingly happy with recent bridges. My teenage boys get their work done at his office, no complaints there. Just don't ever be late for an appointment, they are merciless about rescheduling!

Great staff and office. Responsive to needs. Very professional while at the same time, they are warm & friendly.
