horrible horrible experience!!! the debris has absolutely no patience with children! for the tiniest cavity he took 10 minutes numbing my daughter then got snippy when she started crying! he then wanted to put a contraption on her tooth- for a small cavity!!! they suggested everyone holding her down while she was screaming and crying! when I was leaving the extremely unfriendly woman at the desk advised me of the 40$ fee for not getting work done- which I will be disputing with my credit card company- and I said could I ask you a question and tell you what I had a problem with- she said no I'm not interested - you are being referred out! very very unprofessional and not to mention rude and outdated office and practice!!! please take my advise and do not send your children here!

The absolute worst experience with ANY business that I have ever had! The dentist yelled at my 4-year old daughter in the chair when she started crying, which caused her to cry and scream more uncontrollably. Afterwards he scolded my choice of words in comforting my daughter. I let the office staff know that I was not happy with the way he spoke to my daughter or me in the room, with tears in my eyes as i was so upset. They obviously let the doctor know of my complaint because before i could buckle my daughter into the car, the dentist himself was standing behind me in the parking lot saying, "I heard you have an issue with me". After he spouted off about how ungrateful I was for even thinking to complain and how my daughter was NOT in pain and just uncomfortable, We continued our conversation inside his offices as I was in need of making sure I got the medical files so that we could go to another dentist. He continued to call me ungrateful and finally, "un-parental" for "allowing" her teeth to get that bad and i should be thankful that they even helped me, while his staff coaxed him with their hands to calm himself. Just what my daughter needed in her first true dental experience, and from a so-called "children's dentist" at that. So very unprofessional, so very rude, so very disappointing. While his office staff is helpful and wonderful, John santoro himself is an absolute nightmare of a human being, lacking compassion and ethics. To follow me out to the parking lot and confront me in front of my daughter? Unacceptable. It's time for retirement in my opinion.

About Front Desk: They are the shining star of this office.

I thought that I was doing the right thing by going to a pediatric dentist. I was wrong. the hygienists are the only good thing about this place. the waiting room has a bad odor. I never had to wait less than an hour for an appointment. the first time my son actually needed dr santoro to work on him the dr was very rude and actually yelled at my nervous child. we ended up leaving & just went to a "regular" dentist. my son got his filling completed at the "regular" dentist with great success no long wait no drama! I believe that this office is just cashing in on people like me who think they're doing what's best for their children by going to a pediatric dentist.

About Front Desk: not helpful at all. their receptionist is rude. she doesn't answer questions and acts annoyed when she has to speak to anyone. i don't know why I put up with this place for so long!

I had high hopes on our first consultation visit. My son had anxieties with dentistry. This man strapped my son down. He used a vice instrument to keep my 4yr old son's mouth open. My sons lip was caught in it and he was screaming in pain, this so called child's dentist did nothing. His words, "it will heal." My sons lip was bruised for a week. He was screaming so loud his face broke out with petechia spots. I apologized to my son over and over and told him I would never take him there again. It's been 3yrs since then and I still feel so bad for putting my son through such UNNECESSARY trama.

Dr. Santoro should by no means be able to treat anyone, let alone children. He has virtually no patience, and will slam tools on the table if a child shows ANY distress or asks a quetion during a procedure. Do not leave your child behind closed doors with this man, he will yell, threaten, and even abuse. I strongly believe he should lose his liscense.

I will NEVER take my child back there. He is very rude and had my son in uncontrollable tears. Like a normal child my kid was scared to have his procedure, Dr. Santoro repeatedly told me that my child was a waste of his time, and was yelling in my son's face because he was crying. During the procedure my child was not numb enough and could feel the drilling, he began to cry hard and Dr Santoro told him to be quiet, and stomped out of the room and said this child is ridiculous. Seriously this man does not need to work with children. He told my child when he extracted his tooth he wasn't going to give it to him because he didn't deserve the money from the tooth fairy. I couldn't allow my child to be mistreated any longer so I removed the bib and we left without even finishing what we came in for. This man doesn't even communicate with you, he is extremely rude, he wouldn't talk to me, I was standing right next to his assistant and would tell his assistant things to tell me, as if I wasn't even there, and when my child asked him about the procedure, Dr santoro told him he didn't want to talk to him. I would highly recommend not going there, my child was left with a cut in his mouth from the instrument, and the roughness.
