Dr. Godkin is amazing. His staff are RUDE!!! He is very good with children and make them feel very comfortable which eases the parent's stress. I love him as a dentist but his staff are out of line and disrespectful. I even asked to speak to him but the front desk staff would not let me.
About Front Desk: Dr. Godkin is an amazing dentist. His staff are COMPLETELY RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL!!! I wish that he would read this review as well as others that I have seen. They talked to me as if I were beneath them or I wasn't capable of understanding what they were saying. Today I had enough and decided that I would no longer be going there anymore. I know that it is not Dr. Godkin's fault but I refuse to be taked to like that by a dental assistant or receptionist who thinks it is okay to belittle the patients or their parents.

I went here for the first time and my only bad experience was at the from desk, rude and uncaring staff. There are alot of details that makes the first impression a bad experience. Once you pass the from desk and see the doctor and his assistants on the back, I was impressed with the care and concern they treated my children with. My kids were terrified of destists since their last visit at smile dental in veterans memorial, but dr Godkin made a whole different on their ideas of going to the destist. For me to hear my kids said that they had fun at the dentist even when they got 4-5 teeth extracted is is huge deal, and that is exactly the impression dr Godkin and his assistants made on my children. I had recommended this dental office to all my family members and they all want to come here. Just advice to the front desk people that sometimes what makes the whole different on whether patients come back is based on the first impression at the front desk. I have worked in the front desk at a dentist office and I know for a fact that Moms and Dads love to feel welcome as soon as they step into the office.

My son has special needs and Dr. Godkin and his staff have made my son feel so comfortable going to the Dentist i wish i had a Dentist like Dr.Godkin when i was growing up. Everything from the Insurance to help resollving payments there are so courteous wish all faclitlies were like this.

Dr. Godkin was my dentist 30 years ago and I was delighted to find him for my child! Be warned - no parents beyond the waiting room, but he is truly gifted in his treatment of children and neither I nor my daughter have ever been uncomfortable with the policy. A huge plus to using this dentist is the fact that he also does orthodontics on the other side of his office, which means one less provider to schedule. The office staff is a little difficult to deal with, but it's worth it to me for my daughter to see this dentist.

My 3 and 6 year old love him. The lobby if filled with kid friendly furniture, the waiting area is like a game room, and everyone leaves with a toy. Expensive (we don't have dental insurance), but worth the cost. It has given my kids a good fountation at the dentist, and good expeiences - something I never had.

My daughter is five and loves going there. She has been a patient for 3 years now and we have never had a problem. They have very friendly staff and the doctor is great with the kids. I highly recommend him to any parent!
