My daughter developed a phobia of dentists because Dr. Ginter traumatized her. He extracted two deciduous (baby) teeth without numbing the area. Over 10 yrs later, she is just now able to receive dental treatment without having to be heavily sedated. A child's first dental experience is crucial to the success of healthy teeth and gums. Dr. Ginter clearly did not care. When her father tried to speak with Dr. Ginter, the doctor hung up on him. Worse, he sent my child home with heavily bleeding gums and in tears. While in the treatment area, I witnessed another child being treated who clearly needed to use the restroom. I heard this child request he be allowed to use the restroom and after 20 minutes, he was still being ignored. If I had known his name or who his parents were, I would have gladly told them. I know this happened many years ago, but this dentist sets the standards for his practice, so if he has zero compassion for the patients, how can you expect his staff to have any?

The other reviews that mention Stephanie or the blonde girl (same person) and the rest of the staff are dead on about the AWFUL customer service and nasty attitudes. This office has an extremely vague policy for cancellations that they will force you to sign and railroad you out of money when you reschedule, not cancel...reschedule. They will hide behind this poorly written policy rather than choosing to retain a loyal and promptly paying customer. They will also downright refuse to allow you to speak to their boss, Dr. Ginter, when you ask for direct contact information; they want to intercept any comments that make them look bad. So, if you like being treated by rude wannabe know-it-all staff...you're in the right place.

Both my children don't mind going to the dentist at all thanks to Dr. Ginter and his wonderful staff! It has always been a pleasant experience and with an 8 and 4 year old that is sometimes hard to say!

Dr. Ginter was my dentist and orthodontist when I was little. After seeing him for years when I was 15 I switched to an adult dentists. Dr. Ginter had always told me my teeth were fine and I would never need braces. My adult dentist took one look at my mouth and said that we needed to talk about oral surgery. After getting a few second opinions, and everyone agreeing, I was shocked. I felt like I had been lied to by Dr. Ginter. I had jaw surgery three years ago and am very pleased with the results. I just wish I had never gone to Dr. Ginter as my porblems could have been avoided if addressed when I was younger.

The staff does not like parents going back to the exam rooms with the children. This proved to be an issue as Dr. Ginter's staff left my 2 and 4 year old children unattended in a room. My 4 year old was scared to leave her 2 year old sister alone when she had to go to the restroom. When she had an accident, no one from Dr. Ginter's staff helped me get things cleaned up. He also pulled my 6 year old son's two bottom teeth before the pain medication had a chance to take effect. Very poor attention to the needs of the children in their care!

We had a wonderful experience with Dr. Ginter and their staff. I was a little nervous with this being my daughter's first experience. However, when the dental assistant took her back she was eager and willing to go with her and fully cooperated. Dr. Ginter was quick with the exam and "counted her teeth". Overall, great experience!!

Dr. Ginter is a bit gruff with my daughter, who is five. Technically, he does a great job. Bedside (chairside?) manner could be improved a bit. However, the hygienists are incredible and my daughter simply loves them. Costwise, could be less expensive. Some things you would think would be included in a treatment charge are not, so be careful.

My son is autistic and Dr. Ginter's patiente and care made it go better than other dentists I have been to. He lets me know what exactly what is going on and the options I have for him. I have been to 3 other dentist and none of them have shown the care for my son like he has. I would greatly recommend him.
