2 implants - no problem; daughter had implant on front tooth-no problem. I just wish my insurance would cover some of this!

About Hygienist: They are all fun to visit with and very patient with patients like me!

First seen on referral from an oral surgeon, who removed a healthy molar and left me with a painful jaw infection. Without Ferguson's care and his forceful discussions with the surgeon (to clean up his mess); I'd have gone nuts, from the constant pain. (Percodan didn't help). I've seen Ferguson fairly regularly since. Chair-side manners are excellent, Always entertaining. Don't know how to compare costs, but what's keeping your teeth worth? Any problems have been from my neglect, and the only stress is what you take in with you. Dr. Ferguson's care is excellent. He's honest and upfront about everything. He explains conditions, procedures, options, warnings, thoroughly. Answers questions thoughtfully. I trust him completely.

About Hygienist: Always thorough, friendly. Gentle, even when I've neglected flossing. Feels like a new mouth every time.

Sexy. But even if he weren't, I'd opt for him over someone on my plan. I have a rare condition that indirectly affects my periodontal health. He understood the condition, and factored it into the diagnosis and treatment of the dental problems. In other words, he's not stuck in one chapter of one book of one field of medicine. He's knowledgeable and competent and I trust him completely.

Dr. Ferguson is a gem! I've been going to him for almost 20 years and I would be very depressed if I had to go to any other periodontist. When I first went to him I had serious gum problems and I had already had gum surgery done by someone else. Dr. Ferguson basically did it over and it's been longer than I can remember since I've had gum problems. He is not cheap (although I don't actually know the rates of other periodontists) but he is worth whatever he charges. His hygienists are also the best. And everyone there is completely charming to boot!

Almost a decade after my gum surgery I'm doing great. I see Dr Ferguson and crew once a year. If they taught dental hygeine in school health classes as well as he does, I might never have met him.

Dr. Ferguson is a great doctor. When I had my gums done, he provided me his home number in case I had a problems. Excellent, caring doctor. Dan Eggleston

Dr. Ferguson and staff are amazing. I have severe gum disease from my mother's side of the family - by using the latest technology they have saved all my teeth - something my regular dentist was shocked to find. Major gum surgery and yet the pain was minimal and the recovery time was much less than I thought it would be. Quick and efficient. Google emdogain and find out more about the cutting edge medicine. At the time of my surgery - Dr. Ferguson was the only dentist in Austin using it - 2 years ago ( 2003).

Overall, a very positive experience. Had gumwork done on three back teeth with no significant pain and a successful outcome. I like these folks just fine and Dr Ferguson seems to be a very competent and nice person.
