I wish I could write a review about the skill of Dr. Crofchek, however this review is not. I saw Dr Crocfcheck at the reccomendation of my orthodontist. She seemed very pleasant and competent. After seeing her I was directed to speak with her "treatment coordinator", this is the person who tells you how much things will cost. I paid the consultation fee for my first visit. Two weeks later I received a call asking me to come back in for evaluation. I had a CT scan and again spoke with the treatment coordinator prior to leaving never being told about a fee. About one month later I receive a bill for 150. To my astonishment for the CT scan. I was furious because I was never told about this by any of the staff members. Now they have sent me to a collection agency.

Do not go here. I had the same procedure done 3 times, thinking they knew what they were doing. Boy, was I wrong! After the third surgery with no results (more harm done than good) I found another periodontist in the area who knew right away I needed synthetic bone, not just gum tissue. It's like trying to hang a picture on the wall with no studs. It doesn't work! Dr. Crofcheck recommended that I get additional jaw surgery so she would have more room to work. That is major surgery and completely unnecessary! Dr. Crofcheck routinely uses general anesthesia which is not necessary. The icing on the cake was when she told me she would be working on me until she retired. That's when I literally got up out of the chair and walked out of the door. Stay away! This is not a good place!

My peridontal surgery with Dr. Crofcheck was entirely painless and very successful.
I choose to go to her every 3 months for a checkup and cleaning because she is very thorough and her hygenist is the best.

Dr. Crofcheck did a 4 hour perio surgery on me which was very long and involved. She is a perfectionist who takes her work very seriously and only wants the best for her patients. Her staff is excellent, friendly and they know their stuff. The receptionist is one of the best I have every dealt with.
