I was seen as a new patient appointment and was very impressed with this practice. I was taken back to a room on time, and on the way, given a tour of the office. My cleaning was very gentle and the hygienist, Val made very light,fun conversation during the appointment which relaxed me. I saw Dr. Hall and he was also very pleasant, knowledgeable and trustworthy. Overall, I had a great cleaning and exam!

We were with several dentists in the past. But we were not quite happy with any of them. I wish I know doctoroogle.com earlier. We were searching and randomly picking a dentist for my family. Finally, we chose Dr. Hall for our family. Everything is good so far for us. Dr. Hall graduated from UT health science center in San Antonio about 8 years ago. That is what we were expecting from a dentist - not too young and not too old. He is a very knowledgeable dentist. He explained to us about our overall conditions of our teeth, how to keep your teeth in better shapes, what needs to be done, ... The facilities is brand new with the latest equipments ... The receptionist and the office manager are friendly. They explained to us the cost up front clearly. They take care the insurance process from A to Z for us ...
About Hygienist: Paula is the best hygienist ever to us. She has more than 25 years of experiences. She has very good knowlegde on what she is doing. She is very gentle with your teeth. She gave us the best possible treatment from a hygienist.

Dr Brandon appears to be a knowledgable professional. He is gentle, and works well paced.
My treatment included: several fillings, a crown, a root canal and periodontic treatments. I was quite nervous about the root canal, he explained the necessity and performed the treatments as needed, a little more than a year ago.
I have ongoing problems with pockets (despite flossing) up to 5mm and (1 or 2 6mm). The initial arestin treatment resulted in improvement (< 5mm), but on the last visit I had 5-6mm pockets again (I go to cleaning every 3 months). I switched to a sonic brush now (as recommended by Dr Brandon) and also use waterpik, I hope this will help. I have occasional bleeding during flossing next to the tooth that had the root canal.
The first periodontist working for Dr. Brandon was very satisfactory and demanding. There was a lot of turn over in oral hygenists and staff.

My kids went to Dr. Hall, and first they forgot to file our insurance, but then they charged so much, that we had to spend hundreds of dollars on fillings which were supposed to be 100% covered.

Clean facilities. Reasonable costs. Nice high-tech gadgets. HOWEVER: I had 2 crowns placed with TERRIBLE, PAINFUL experience. My cheeks/mouth were pulled/stretched to point of being shredded and my lips were swollen for a week. During crown placement, terrible-tasting "medicine" was squirted all over my mouth, which would not scrub off, so I had icky stuff all over my mouth for a very long time (finally wore off). My mouth was screaming in pain during this whole procedure (took much longer than it should have; dentist and/or assistant kept forgetting the order of things and kept having to redo cleaning, medicating, and drying steps), and my teeth have hurt terribly ever since the crowns were put on. Crown moldings are lousy (don't even remotely resemble my original teeth), and the dentist will not consider replace them. I have 2 prior crowns and have never had so horrible an experience. I am now looking for another dentist.

- Ability:
Dr Hall did my root canal (my second). One of the roots was significantly curved. I was very impressed with his ability to follow the nerve path with very little impact to the rest of the root. There was some slight pain, but I declined additional pain medication. The intial injection was surprisingly painless. The crown is impecable.
-Facilities and help:
The facilities are clean and modern - XRay shows detailed computer images, but unfortunately no mini camera to show visual images of the teeth. He and his staff are friendly, light rock music in the background. The assistants are noticeably new at their jobs (Mar06): it took 2-3 attempts to get a good XRay, but are competant and charming.
-Cost:
The fees were twice what my insurance would pay, but he dropped to match my coverage. He did not push un-necessary procedures or more expensive options (gas). I did opt for antibiotics for a gum infection but was warned that it was not covered by insurance and how much it cost. I was very particular about my bill, but the assistant was able to explain everything.

Office is clean and modern but I felt like I was at the car dealership repair center. "You are going to need this, this and this..."
When I pushed back, they came up with other, less expensive options. Overall, I felt like they were more interested in how much money they could make, not what I really needed.

I have seen Dr. Hall for a couple years now and have been pleased with the results. The office is VERY clean and the new technology compliments the quality of the staff working in the office - all very competent and reliable. This Doc's referral was excellent. I have very good insurance and have not had any problems with billing or otherwise.
