I had teeth removed, and then received temporary crowns. Later, I received the permanent ones. The whole experience was pain free and very relaxing. Dr. Thompson has a wonderful bedside manner, and made me feel very comfortable.

About Hygienist: Hygienist was very mannerly, and gentle.

Royal Dental office in Baytown is the worst dental office I've ever been to. They almost extracted a tooth from my teenage son who has my husband's namesake, obviously confusing him with my husband's treatment plan. They've forgotten me and had me waiting for hours. I paid in full for services yet when I came back to complete services, they wanted more money but couldn't explain to me why. The billing clerk told me that using an in network dentist didn't mean anything to them as far as what they billed me, they had no regards for their negotiated rates with Cigna. I've been trying to get my money back from them since November of 2011 for overpayment and bad ortho work on my son. I was able to get two credits back for work on my husband and my other kids but this one is a lot more and I'm so frustrated with their inadequate responses. I've already contacted BBB and hoping this gets resolved soon. I ended up terminating my contract with them.

While I did need an extensive cleaning, not covered by my DMO, initially, I felt Dr. Lalji was justified in recommending this since it had been a year and a half since my last appointment (we recently moved here). He and his staff were pleasant, professional, and friendly. I have had other doctors rush to offer "solutions" like veneers and bleaches, but I found Dr. Lalji and his staff to be conservative in their treatment. His hygienist was a little over enthusiastic with the floss, but in her defence, once I got home and began flossing more vigorously than I had before, I did see a difference in my gum health and that was reflected in my next visit (which WAS covered by insurance). The front desk staff was friendly, and brought out a small toy for my 2 year old, who came with me for my initial assessment.
