The new office looks great, which is nice so you feel like you're in a comfortable environment. But really the big thing is that Dr. Denman knows what he's doing. He actually engages with patients and comes up with a treatment plan after listening to what we say - crazy concept, I know! I've never been to a general dentist like him before - he can handle pretty much any situation that comes up - even my wisdom teeth extractions. The other big thing is the price - they're way cheaper than my last dentist. Great quality, great price, friendly dentist, cool staff.

After several visits to Dr. Denman at the Smile Center on Oltorf, I have come to the conclusion that tact is not included in the D.D.S. package. Although the dental care he provided me was satisfactory (he filled my tooth as well as a tooth can be filled), his chairside manner was horrendous. Among his offensive and unprofessional behavior, he and an assistant openly discussed how bad they thought my x-ray looked as I sat inches away ("Oh my God... wow, look at that... that should really hurt...") and drilled into my upper lip without apologizing. I would recommend this doctor only to those with no other option for dental care... or those that are into humiliation.

Although he seems to be a fully capable dentist (he filled my tooth as well as a tooth can be filled), he has a horrendous chairside manner. A handful of visits over the course of several months have led me to believe that tact is not included with the D.D.S. package. Among his offenses, he and an assistant discussed how bad my x-ray looked--inches away from where I sat--and he drilled into my lip without apologizing (and if he was unaware that the drill had gone from tooth to soft tissue, the blood should've been an indication). I would recommend this dentist only to those with no other options... or those that just don't like themselves very much.
