I went to Dr Shay years ago when my son needed dental work that our previous dentist estimated at thousands of dollars. Dr Shay did the work for 1/3 the cost. I have terrible teeth and a neurotic fear of dentists. Dr Shay's humor and chair-side manner helps calm me down. I am so thankful to find a dentist who listens to me and gives me a choice of procedures if its possible. The facilities are clean and pleasant.
About Hygienist: I love his assistant. She is wonderful and is great at her job.

Dr Shay is great! It's very comforting to know he knows what he's doing! I've had loads of dentists and he by far has been the best at explaining what's going on with my teeth and how to prevent things from getting worse. He tells it like it is - the truth - in regards to what could potentially happen to my teeth and how much $$ to plan for when there is work to be done with advance warning. I'd recommend him to all - especially family and friends.

He is amazing. Saved my tooth where other dentists would have just pulled it. Had a root canal on my lunch hour. Fast, professional and treats you so well. I am terrified of going to the dentist, but with Dr Shay, I look forward to going back. If he had been my dentist sooner, I don't feel I would have the dental issues he is currently working on. Great chair-side manner, compassionate and caring. A rare find in dentists. Would and have recommneded to everyone I meet.

I use Dr. Shay because he is in my insurance plan, but would not otherwise. He is not careful, causes pain, and I have had unsatisfactory results with my crowns, such as poor fit and poor color match. He has made embarrasing comments about my teeth.

Dr Shay is the best dentist in roundrock, pflugerville area, he does great dental work and not only he does great work he has great compassion for his patients and works well with them. His clinic is been blessed with great employees who takes care of the patients as best as they possibly can to provide best care according to their needs. Our family has been blessed to have Dr Shay as our dentist.

Dr. Shay's staff were excellent overall, very friendly, the office was clean and hygenic. Dr. Shay himself didn't spend much time explaining to me what the course of treatment should be, and seemed too busy to answer my questions. He accidentally nicked my gum during a routine oral exam and it hurt for a couple of days afterwards. He just seemed distracted. Maybe I caught him on a bad day.
