My daughter is 20 years old. She had regular dentist visits all these years and also had complete orthodontist treatment. She told me she was terrified to get her teeth cleaned in this office. The doctor is very aged and very careless. The receptionist cum technical helper was of no help either. She asked her whether she wants X-rays taken? Wasn't this part of routine exam? The secretary tried to extract payment from us for regular cleaning over what is paid by our insurance. We ended up paying $50 for deep scaling over what was covered by our insurance.

About Hygienist: This is the first time in all these years we find a dentist himself performing the role of hygienist!

I know this doctor: One week

The man has a great personality, but should not be practicing dentistry. The cleaning took maybe 10 minutes and after I left I realized that he never did polish the upper teeth. On the next visit to replace a filling, he jammed the needle in the muscle between the upper and lower jaw and it was sore for a week. He did not wait for the area to become fully numb. At one point, I asked him to stop drilling because of pain/sensitivity. He did, for about 15 seconds, then started up again. He got the message when my hand came up to stop or hit him (I'm not sure which - it was reflex reaction to the pain). I have never had a dentist visit like this. Do not go here.

I went to him to have a denture relined. Dr. Nesting filled it with plastic, but left it in too long. He told me to try to take it out of my mouth, but I was not able to do so after several trials. He tried to remove the denture himself, but not being able to do so, he had to cut it out and broke the denture. He also injured my gums. He had to send the denture out for repairs and when I went back to pick it up, but it did not fit properly. I told him so and he did some drilling but it still did not fit. When I told him so again, he asked if i wanted the plastic put on it again and I told him no because of the problem that I had with it before. He told me he could do nothing for me, I left with a denture that I could not use, sore gums. When I asked him why, he told me to find another dentist to fix my denture. This was very unprofessional.

Dr. Nesting does the teeth cleaning himself (in about 5 minutes) rather than having a hygenist do so. You feel like he is in a rush. He recommended treatments right away but the prices quoted were well above what the insurance guaranteed as a co-pay. His office staff maintained the same price even when told that the insurance contract specified a lower price. You don't get a feel of being well taken care of. He is older and a little curt.

Dr. Nesting cleaned my teeth in less than 10 minutes. That is not a "cleaning". I have seen many good dentists who have hygeinists clean teeth for at least 30 minutes. I will not go back.

Both my wife and I are highly dissatisfied with our care at this facility. Dr. nesting did the cleaning himself and took all of 3 minutes for my cleaning. My teeth were given a brief prod with a sharp thing and then he was 'finished'. My wife reported a similar experience. The office and equipment looked like I had just stepped into 1975. Both Dr. Nesting and his assisstant seemed rude with no bedside manners to speak of. On the plus side, his receptionist was polite.

I was very disappointed with the entire process. The receptionist was not friendly at all. Dr. Nesting was not gentle with my son, he was too rough and didn't take the time to make my son feel comfortable. He was too quick. In a matter of 5 minutes, he supposedly cleaned my son's teeth and did a check-up. I had to pay $56 dollars for the visit, which is really overpriced. The equipment was really outdated and nothing in Dr. Nesting's office seemed technologically up-to-date. I do not recommend Dr. Henry Nesting for anyone.
