Dr. Pugeda is an excellent Dentist. She cares about her dental patients and gives everyone quality care and service. Her staff are all very friendly. Her practice is immaculate. I have dental insurance so I can't say much about cost. My family (myself and 3 children) has been going to her for 15 years.

Not your average dental office...great docs, great staff, great facility! I've been going here for the last 2 years and have never been let down. Dr. Pugeda has been awesome...very helpful, knowledgeable, and just an all around good person...highly recommended!

I went to Dr. Pugeda's office because a friend of mine recommended her to me. My friend said her fees were fair even without dental insurance. That instantly sold me. Since I just recently had a cleaning at western dental I made an appointment for a consultation only. Parking was difficult, but hey its downtown and to be expected. It's not a big office, but is very welcoming. The dentist was friendly and seemed very honest with her diagnosis. I will be coming back to get my fillings done as soon as I get paid.

After spending some time searching for a suitable dentist that takes my insurance--I have to say I'm very pleased with my experience today from Dr. Pugeda. All employees were knowledgeable and friendly. Throughout the entire appointment, I felt that I was an informed and active participant in the decision-making process. Highly recommended.

I had an emergency toothache and they were able to fit me in the same day. I am so happy to be out of pain! Thank you Dr. Pugeda!

Dr. Pugeda is a wonderful dentist. The office is clean and the staff was very professional.

The Good: Dr. Pugeda is very nice. She has a one-woman practice and a friendly, helpful front desk person. The facility is very small. Dr. Pugeda does her own cleanings, and she is very gentle while working in my sensitive mouth. She is also attentive to her patients' well-being while she is working on them, (which, amazingly, not all dentists are).
The Bad: (1) Dr. P has many times told me my dental plan doesn't charge for certain treatments that I know they do, that I told her they do, and which, when I called them, they verified they do. Instead I have to pay hefty charges as if I had no plan. (2) I am not satisfied with the quality of work. (3) As many dentists do, Dr. P encourages unnecessary procedures dental plans don't cover. This is not a problem, I just don't like it. (4) Sometimes assistants are not very good. I had to have x-rays redone 3 times bs the technician was so sloppy. (This is an inconvenience, not a problem.) (5) The office is downtown, so parking can be tough to find. Plan an extra 1/2 hour to hunt for a space.
Overall, I like Dr. P's chairside manner, her office clerk, and the intimacy of her practice bs it is small. I don't like her charging practices or unnecessary recommendations.

Dr. Pugeda is an outstanding dentist and I have been going to her for nine years. Her staff is very helpful, it is a small office, like an old fashioned family practice and Dr. Pugeda gives very high quality service. I never had any complaint about the quality of my dental care at this office. She has good rapport with her patients, very clean and nice office, never had a billing problem and she has a high skill level.
However, there is a SERIOUS problem in that it is practically impossible to call Dr. Pugeda's office and speak to a live person. 99.99% of the time you will get the answering machine tape and can only leave a message. I asked Dr. Pugeda dozens of time to hire a clerk to answer the phone - but it never registers.
The office is very difficult to get in touch with if you want to talk to a live person - because you always get the tape macine. They will call you back - but then you play telephone tag back and forth with voice mail messages.
But in every other respect, Dr. Pugeda is an outstanding dentist, like an old fashioned family doctor who gives personal care and spends a lot of time with her patients.

Not impressed with this dentist. Actually in the process of changing. Both myself and my wife had a similar experience, where are gums were scarred after she (personally, not her hygenist) did our cleanings. Plus she told me that I needed a night guard because I was grinding my teeth (which I had to pay for out of pocket) I have been to several dentists who were very thourough and this is the first I have heard of this. Do not recommend, but she was cheap. My wife's comment is this is why kids are scarred of dentists.
