If you're looking for a dental office you can count on, forget this one. THEY DO NOT ANSWER OR RETURN PHONE CALLS. It has now been 4 weeks since I called regarding an urgent problem I needed taken care of since it was scraping my tongue. Left a message, waited 4 hours, called back. Day 2, called and left a message, no return calls. I had to find another dental office to get the problem taken care of, which they worked me in the same day. The new dental office I went to asked me if I'd recently had X-rays, which they called and requested from Freeman's office. No answer, message left, no return call. This is nothing new, when I tried to make my original appointment 3 years ago, I called twice with no return calls. The friend that recommended the practice got in contact with Suzy and I finally got a call. First red flag, but Suzy had the gall to lie to me on the phone and say my callback number was garbled. Yeah, twice and so was their caller ID I assume. You will never get a reminder call for your scheduleded appointments that you've made 6 months out, an email, nothing. This is unacceptable and result falls to a simple reason: they're lazy. It's a one dentist office, not exactly high traffic.

Dr. Freeman is great. I initially went to to see him for a toothache. He has attention to detail with his examinations, is friendly, and HE CARES. He said that I did not need any work done. That says a lot considering the previous dentist I went to told me that I need four fillings replaced while Dr. Freeman said nothing was wrong with them.
Dr. Freeman does the cleanings himself. What other dentist does cleanings?
He is a walking dental encyclopedia. I get the impression he eats and sleeps dentistry. He went to dental school at the University of Pacific which is highly regarded.
Dr. Freeman's office is 31 miles away from where I live I live in north county San Diego . I am willing to make the drive to have him be my regular dentist.

Not a fan of dentists at all.... HOWEVER Dr David Freeman is the best dentist ever! Would NEVER GO ANYWHERE ELSE!!!!

He is very patient and excellent dentist. Because he is not just dentist he applies the normal fundamental of physics. I would say Logic. Moreover, before your appointment day arrives Suzy ( i just love the way she explains stuff) Dr. Freeman's coworker will tell do's and dont's. Infact she listened to me so very carefully and told me I do not even need to visit them. I can have orange juice for sometime which would make my gums stronger and then see if problem persists. THEY ARE SIMPLY BEST AND AWESOME.

Dr. Freeman is the best dentist that I have ever been too. He is intelligent and professional and very gentle. His office is state of the art and very clean. He is upfront with what is going on with your teeth and the health of your gums. Dr. Freeman is a Christian and runs a Christian Business. GOD Bless you Dr. Freeman. Thank you, James Tate
About Hygienist: Susie, his hygienist, is a very charming and educated young woman. She is very polite and professional.

I have lived in San Diego for 12 years and it has taken me that long to find a dentist that wanted to preserve my teeth as much as I do. Every other dentist I've seen would take a look at my teeth and tell me I needed crowns - no other options. Dr. Freeman explored other possibilities like inlays, onlays and implants. He is incredibly professional, intelligent and talks to you in terms you will understand. The first time he worked on my teeth (lower right quadrant), he was gentle and talked me through the whole procedure. It was a complete success. If all dentists were as nice as they are proficient in their craft, it wouldn't have taken me as long to find Dr. Freeman. As long as he is practicing dentistry, I will remain his patient and will continue to recommend him to everyone I know.
