I arrived for appointment on time and waited for nearly an hour and a half. When I requested my co-pay be returned they explained that there were no refunds. That was a year ago. I just called to make an appointment (not realizing it was the same dentist) and was told by Debby that they will not see me since I didn't stay for my appointment a year ago. She claimed I left the appointment and refused to give them the paperwork I had completed. I never got to meet the dentist, but his front staff are the utter definition off classless, Dundalk, white trash I have ever encountered. If you wanna listen to someone pop chewing gum while filing their nails and sucking their teeth, this is the place to go.

I see Dr. Sanit, but have seen Dr. Exler as well. Both are very nice and professional, and I have no complaints about them. However, the office manager, Robin, is extremely difficult to work with. I had to have some insurance issues dealt with and it took her a year before I finally gave up with her and dealt with the insurance provider directly. She then told me that she was "doing me a favor" by trying to get a procedure reimbursed. I will be changing dentists because of my terrible experience with her.

About Front Desk: The receptionists are nice. I've only had problems with the office manager, Robin. She is horrible.

Hygiene rating:

About Hygienist: Very nice, gentle and thorough.

Dr. Exler and his staff are very professional individuals. They take their time and find out each persons need. I have NEVER had any problems with them. I give them great kudos and refer this office to all my friends & family.

About Hygienist: The hygienist, Anna, is a beautiful young lady inside & out. Her experience exceeds her age.

Dr Exler and Dr Sanit are great. Once again it's Robin I recently had a horrific problem with. She handled my situation in the most unethical manner. I was completely horrified. I have been a patient with Dr Exler for at least 25 yrs but what Robin did was inexcusable and I plan to go to another Dentist.

Dr. Exler is fine, it's his front desk assistant, Robin, that is a complete nightmare. I have dealt with her before, and she's always rude, abrasive, etc., but what happened today takes the cake. I called with a request for a prescription refill (just anti-inflammatory, "dentist motrin," if you will, that she denied, and when I asked her to explain, she became extremely defensive, loud, and rude, talking over me on the phone, not allowing me to speak. After I repeatedly asked her to please allow me to speak, she told me to "write a letter" and hung up on me. I called back, she hung up again. And again. I called again, and she proceeded to cuss me out before hanging up on me. Finally I got a sane person on the phone who heard me out and managed to make a last-minute appointment for me so that I could do something about my tooth pain. After this visit, I am changing dentists. Overall, Robin casts a horrific shadow on the experience, and I would recommend that, if you care about patient satisfaction and being treated with respect, you go elsewhere. I am certainly going to.

I am writing to comment on the front desk manager, Robin. She is extremly rude and unhelpful. I had a problem with billing and she refused to let me speak to Dr. Excler. She told me to write a letter and that he would contact me in regards to the problem and that did not happen. She also told me she would not be calling me back to dicuss the problem and if I came in to talk with Dr. Excler that he wold not speak to me. This is very unprofessional and I hope you read this Dr. Excler. Robin will keep any future friends/family of mine away from your office. On a positive....I did enjoy the hygentists and Dr. Excler...it is making it through the front door that is the problem.

The dentist is pretty okay, a thorough and professionally man. The staff person who makes appointments for Dr. Exeler, the African-American woman,is very abrupt and curt, almost rude, especially over the telephone. ( I am African-American too.) The hygienists are excellent, especially one young lady whose name I cannot recall. She does an outstanding job on my teeth and gums

About Hygienist: Both of the Hygienists I have had were good, but the one lady is very quiet and professional, doing an outstanding job on my teeth and gums. I am thinking her name is Laura.

Best dentist you could ever find! Completely painless, very friendly and knowledgable. Actually listens to you! Puts you at ease. FYI - the chart above wouldn't let me vote "extremely cheap" and "like a health spa" however, my dental coverage has covered everything that the office has done so far

About Hygienist: Wonderful, kind, knowledgable, very patient. They make a great team for all your dental needs!

This office is (DHMO) which is low end, and I would pay more $ to go somewhere eles. They did not care if I left dissatisified or in pain. It took several times to get the right appointment to have a cavity filled; and when the date finally came, I was rushed in and more importantally, rushed out! I left in pain and remained in pain for several days. I asked for the dentist to call me back, recieved no calls from him to answer a question or two

I've never had pain after leaving a dental exam from this office. I have health insurance so all I pay is a co-pay. Everyone there is extremely nice.
